Jeongguk jumped awake at the sensation of his phone vibrating on his neck.

With his eyes bleary and his head pounding, he looked around. His eyes met the base of the couch and the legs of the dining chairs thrown around haphazardly on the floor.

Frowning, he brought his hand up to rub his eyes, only to jump at the sensation of his phone vibrating again on his neck.

It was only then that he realized that he was on the floor, sweaty and reeking of alcohol. He clumsily reached for his phone and answered the call without even looking at the ID.

" 'llo?"

"Hello? Hyung?!"

Jeongguk chuckled slightly and scratched his sweaty throat. "Ah, wh-what a sexy voice to wake up to," he closed his eyes and grinned.

"Hyung, are you still drunk?! How long were you drinking last night?"

"W-Wha- no, I'm no' dru-"

Jeongguk stopped talking and sat up slowly with a groan. He looked around sluggishly at all the mess that he had made of his living room and suddenly realized that even if not now, he must have certainly been drunk the previous night. There was no other explanation for the state of his living room.

"....hyung? Are you there?! Hyung!!"

Jeongguk's eyes widened. How on earth did Taehyung know about him drinking the previous night? Did he call him and blabber some nonsense?! Getting drunk in front of him once was more than enough. What did he do this time?! What if he sai-

"That's it. I'm coming home," he heard Taehyung say and his heart flipped. Taehyung was coming home? Even after all of the chaos, he still called this hell of a place his home? He still cared for him?

Jeongguk grinned and scooted backwards until his back hit the couch. He leaned his head back on the couch and let his phone fall on it with the speaker facing his ear. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

It took a few rumblings from the other side for Jeongguk to realize that Taehyung hadn't ended the call either. He decided not to point it out. Who cares? He could hear the rush in his husband's movements and just the fact that his husband was rushing to come to him was more than enough for him.

A few minutes later, he heard him run down the stairs and greet his parents rather gloomily. He frowned. Why did his parents sound so gloomy as well?

"Eomma, I'm going out to have breakfast with Jiminie. We might roam around a little, so don't expect me for lunch either, okay?" he heard Taehyung say. He frowned harder. Why wasn't Taehyung telling them straight away that he was going home to meet his husband?

"You aren't going anywhere. I know where you are gonna go, Tae. I mean it when I say he isn't good for yo-"

'Right,' Jeongguk thought, gulping with a sweat drop breaking out on his forehead, 'they said they would apply for a divorce.' He remembered the reason why he had drunk the previous night.

"Appa, really? Have some trust in your son. I'm not going to meet Jeongguk hyung. Jiminie and I really planned to go and have breakfast for a change. He even applied for a lea-"

"Tae!!" he heard Jimin faraway and rolled his eyes. 'What a timing!!' he thought.

"Oh, Jimin-ah, you're here! You suggested having breakfast outside, didn't you?! Appa is not believing me here!!" he heard Taehyung exclaim and prayed for every god above that Jimin would save the moment and play along.
