Jeongguk was reviewing a file for the last meeting of the day that he had in twenty minutes with the CEO of another huge company and a stakeholder of their own company.

As his swearing-in ceremony was nearing, he grew busier and busier, meeting different important people and trying to prove his worth to them.

However, this time, he couldn't concentrate on the file. Was he doing the right thing by bringing Taehyung back to their house when....

He supposed it was safe. He had the restraining order back, after all. There was nothing that could happen until the order ended again. Even without the restraining order, he knew nothing would happen to Taehyung. He knew that for sure. But still, he couldn't take chances.

He felt a little anxious. The talk with Taehyung earlier told him that Taehyung didn't know how to use firearms. He had placed all those guns in the house wherever they could reach in the belief that his husband knew how to use them just in case he needed to use them.

He sighed, knowing such a situation wouldn't come as long as he had a restraining order, but one could never know.

His phone vibrated loudly against the table, bringing him out of his thoughts. It was Jimin. He sighed again and answered.

"Hello?"

"Hello, hyung, this is Jimin," Jimin said and Jeongguk sighed again. "Jimin, I told you I saved your number," he said.

"Haha, right," Jimin chuckled and continued on a more serious note, "I need to talk to you. Are you free?" he asked.

"For about ten minutes, I guess. What's the matter?" Jeongguk asked after he threw a glance at his watch.

"Just ten minutes....? Okay, we'll talk later, then. It's serious," Jimin said. That made Jeongguk sit up straighter. A serious matter that needed more than ten minutes of his time?

"What is it about?" he asked.

"Your house, of course. All the guns and all," Jimin said and Jeongguk slumped back with a sigh and a roll of his eyes. He should have known his husband would call and tell Jimin everything right away.

"There's nothing much to talk about it, Jimin-ah. We can do it now itself. I'm in danger and so I added a few security systems to our house to make sure Tae isn't in danger as well," he said. "Why are you in danger?" Jimin asked, "I'm sorry for prying like this, but I need to know. I need to look out for Tae. He's like my brother."

"I get it, but I can't tell you why I'm in danger. Just know I'll do everything in my power to keep him safe with me," Jeongguk promised.

"Are you not going to tell the reason to Tae as well? He deserves to know, you kno-"

"It's my wish whether I want to keep my matters personal or not and just because he is my husband, it doesn't give him the right to automatically know everything about me, Jimin. It doesn't automatically make it my duty to let him know everything either. My life is still mine and his life is his own. We are just going to live together. So I'll decide when to tell him or if I want to tell him at all. I know you are just looking out for him, and I appreciate it, but please don't interfere in this matter."

Jimin didn't reply for a while. He didn't know what to say.

"Are you there?" Jeongguk asked after a while and Jimin cleared his throat. "Yeah, yeah, I'm there," he said, "I'm sorry for trying to meddle. I just wanted to....never mind. Can he and I go out or is that dangerous as well?"

"You can. I'm just being over-cautious. It's fine. You can go out and do whatever you guys want. When and where are you going to go?"

"I don't know. I'm just asking."
