Although LJ and Lucan are twins, they are identical, but you could tell them apart. LJ had a dimple on his left cheek; his eyes were blue and not hazel brown like Lucan's. That is how everyone could tell them apart.

LJ lived in Australia in Brisbane on the Gold Coast and has been living there for a year and five months now.

I never went to visit him, so I don't really know how it's like living there.

Two months before me and Mike, my boyfriend, started dating, LJ moved to Australia. He worked as an architect, and he was really good at his job.

He was dating a girl named Amy, an exotic animal veterinarian.

LJ loved to tell people the story about how he and Amy met.

LJ was working on a project at David Fleay Wildlife Park, building a new cage for a tiger.

He was a great architect and great at his job. People always used him for big projects.

Apparently, Amy was working there only as a volunteer. She didn't work at one particular Zoo. She liked moving from place to place and volunteering her services.

She was busy looking after a baby tiger that got hurt when LJ spotted her and went over to her where she sat in the cage with the tiger.

"Hey, why are you sitting in the cage with the tiger?" He asked, looking at her.

"Because I want to be eaten," She replied sarcastically.

"No, seriously, why are you inside the cage with the tiger?"

"Didn't you hear me the first time?" She asked agitatedly.

"Well, fine if you want to be rude, then be rude. I just asked you a simple question." He turned around and walked away, going back to building the cage. When he looked over his shoulder, she stood behind him.

"Why are you building this cage?"

"Because I want to climb to the top and act like King Kong," He said, trying not to make eye contact.

"Now, who is being sarcastic? Okay, okay, sorry." She rolled her eyes, turned around, and walked away.

She came back after an hour or so, all out of breath. She could barely talk to him. "I am sorry," She said.

"Why?" He stated, sounding indifferent to her apology

"For being rude to you. I am... You know, just in a bad mood, and now I am taking it out on everyone."

"May I ask why?" He asked and looked at her, taking in her appearance.

"I... I just broke up with my boyfriend." She said quickly, trying not to make eye contact with him.

He could see the tears forming in her eyes, and he pulled her closer, hugging her cautiously.

They stood like that for a while, when suddenly she pulled away from him. He was startled by the sudden change in her attitude.

"Could we... You know... Maybe start over?" He asked shyly.

"Sure, I would like that."

"I am LJ Carter." He held out his hand.

"I'm Amy Livingston." She gave him a shadow of a smile and shook his hand.

LJ was always the weird one when it came to loving someone. His first date and first kiss were also strange.

He took Amy out on one of those cute picnic and movie dates. They were sitting outside on the grass when a bee came and disturbed them.

Amy, highly allergic to bee stings, started swatting at the bee with her hands. LJ tried to help her when the bee stung him on his hand.

Amy started laughing at him, and he didn't think it was funny but started laughing with her because she had such a cute laugh.

She then got the hiccups and couldn't stop. LJ, always the practical one, thought that maybe if he kissed her, she would stop.

He leaned forward towards her when he spilled a whole bottle of red wine on her white dress. The crimson on the white, a clash that made her laugh through her hiccups.

They went back to his apartment, and he lent her one of his shirts. He felt so bad about the dress and told her that he would replace it.

She just started laughing again and together they decided to finish their date at home with a movie that Amy chose.

The movie 'Night at the Museum' starring Ben Stiller, because she loved Ben Stiller.

LJ sat next to Amy when she started to move closer to him. They cuddled close for a while, and when he wanted to kiss her, she turned around too quickly, and they bumped heads.

They started laughing, holding onto each other when Amy just leaned in and kissed him. Their love was pure and real.

LJ was my brother, who always tried to be there for me since Nick passed away. We got on really well, but still, we had our differences.
