The next morning I woke up in Niall's arms, he held me close in his arms, he smelled so good.
I heard the door squeak and I looked over. I saw the door opening slowly and Aralynne stepped inside.
I blinked and rubbed my eyes, I looked over at Niall's sleeping body next to mine and then back at Aralynne.
My first thought was that I am seeing a ghost.
"What the hell is this?" She motioned towards me and Niall that was now woken up by her.
That is when I realized that ghosts couldn't speak. I jumped up from my bed and hugged Aralynne so hard that she could barely breathe.
"Why are you so happy to see me?" She asked, giving me a confused look.
"It ... it's just. Didn't you get onto flight 108?"
"No darling, I missed the flight by mere minutes and I had to leave on the next one." She went over to her bed, putting all her bags and stuff onto it.
"Why? What happened to the plane?" She looked at me waiting for me to answer.
"You don't know? Aralynne it crashed into the sea and there are no survivors."
"What?" I could see tears welling up in her eyes.
"Are you okay Aralynne?"
She took her phone from her bag, dialing a number and pressed the phone to her ear, walking out of the room without saying a word.
"What is wrong? Is your friend okay?" Niall asked softly, still sitting next to me, watching us very carefully.
"I don't know."
"I'll pick you up tonight at six, I am taking you somewhere special." He stood up and kissed me on the cheek.
I could feel myself turning a slight shade of pink when Niall left. I could still see his shadow leaving, then I decided to jump up and call him.
"Niall?"
"Yeah." He walked a little bit back so that he could hear me more clearly.
"Is that a date?" I gave him a little smile.
"Only if you want it to be one, princess." He gave me a little wave, leaving again.
Aralynne was nowhere to be seen. She was really upset about what happened to the plane of flight 108.
Aralynne's P.O.V
I had to get out of there, I didn't want Zenè to see me cry.
I went to Alex's dorm room, knocking on the door, but there was no answer. I kept on calling his phone, but I only got his voicemail.
Alex was on flight 108, the flight that I should have been on. It was supposed to be me, not him.
I made my way out of the dorm, I needed fresh air. It felt as if I were suffocating. I stopped moving when I stepped onto the lawn.
My phone started ringing, thinking that it is Alex, I checked my screen, the call is from Sarah, Alex's mom, making me think that he could be at home.
"Hey, Miss Sarah," I answered the phone, and I could hear the sadness and tears in her voice.
"Aralynne, I... Alex... my son 'Alex'. He... he passed away. The plane." She started crying, I sat down on the grass, crying, even more, it finally hit me that Alex was gone, he is never coming back.
He was like my brother, we grew up together. I kept the phone close to my ear. I tried to get the words out but it was only like silent little cries.
"Aralynne? Are you still there?" Sarah's voice came through the phone.
"Do you need help with the funeral?"
"No, dear, everything is fine. The funeral will be on Friday I hope to see you there. You could bring some friends if you want to."
"I will see you there Miss Sarah. I love you, and I am sorry for your loss."
She hanged up the phone, I sat, still holding my phone to my ear. I got up and decided to head back to my room.
I wiped away the last few tears from my eyes before going into my room. I walked over to my bed, crept beneath the covers and cried myself to sleep.
