Nine months went by really quickly, and before I knew it, it was already time for Aiden to be born. It felt like only yesterday that we went for our first scan.

Niall, always the protective one slept over every night just to make sure that he was close by for when Aiden decided it was time to make his entrance into the world.

We did not know exactly when Aiden was going to come, but it was soon, and that is all we knew.

I went in search of something to do as I wasn't tired yet and found Niall in the living room watching some sports channel.

"Do you want some tea?"

"Yes, please."

I waddled into the kitchen, making Niall and myself some hot tea with honey. I felt uncomfortable; my tummy was too big.

I walked back to the living room carrying the two mugs in my hands. I gave Niall his cup and took the seat next to him.

I placed my feet on the coffee table trying to get comfortable. I just wish Aiden could come already.

Niall and I had finished the baby room at my place. He was spending more time at my place than at his own, but I enjoyed the company.

Niall softly placed his hands on my tummy and started talking to little Aiden. His excitement was very overpowering and contagious.

Whenever he did this Aiden would go crazy and start kicking, and Niall would enjoy it even more.

"I just wish he would come already."

"Trust me Nialler, I want so bad for him to come, it is uncomfortable, it feels like I swallowed a beach ball."

"You are still beautiful no matter what."

He always knew the right things to say and make me feel better. He switched the TV over to the movie channel.

Halfway through the movie, I got tired and just wanted to head to bed, but Niall persuaded me to stay a little longer, only until the end credits rolled around.

I struggled up from the couch when the unexpected happened, and my water broke, right there in front of Niall.

He jumped up took me by the hand and led me to car, helping me in. He rushed off to the hospital as it wasn't that far.

We were prepared for this, as my bags were already in the car. He asked for a wheelchair to be brought, and they helped me into it.

We got inside and my breathing was getting heavier by the minute, the nurse took me to our room that we reserved a few weeks ago.

I got on the bed, and the nurse placed a few pillows behind my back before leaving to call the doctor. She came back and told us the doctor was on her way, and we just had to wait a few more minutes.

The doctor finally arrived, and it was time for the big arrival of little Aiden. Our families could not be here, but Niall had called Aralynne, and the boys and they were all waiting outside as proud uncles and an aunt.

"It's time to push Zenè." The doctor signaled for me to push as it was time.

Niall held my hand through the whole thing, supporting me and motivating me to push when the doctor told me.

It felt like time came to a standstill, and I was too tired to go on. My eyes started closing when I finally heard a crying baby.

He is finally born, and I couldn't have been happier.

"You did it Zenè." Niall started stroking my hair.

"We did it."

The nurse placed Aiden in my arms, and I wasn't even tired anymore. My eyes were filled with tears of joy Niall left to tell the waiting guest outside that our baby is born.

I could hear him as he couldn't keep his voice down from all the excitement.

"He is finally born. Aiden is finally here, you are all uncles and aunts."

They finally finished cleaning Aiden up and doing all kinds of test on him to make sure he was okay before bringing him back to us.

Everyone left, giving Niall and me some space and time with Aiden. I was tired and just wanted to sleep.

Before I drifted off, I saw Niall pick Aiden up holding him close and telling him a story.

"You got the best mommy in the world, and I promise you someday you are going to be just as great as she is."

He sat down on the chair with Aiden in his arms, and I watched them carefully, drifting off into a deep sleep.

*A lot of you are confused about the girl part, Niall only said it because he wanted a little girl, but they only had a little boy.

If you keep on reading it says that they only have one child, I didn't want to bring in twins again as Megan and Nick had the twins in the family.
