"What do you mean you don't know how to play Twister?"

You flinched at Gert's question, but Alex calmed her down. "I'll help her." Alex turned to you and grabbed your shoulders. "We don't have much time, okay? Can you steady yourself?"

You thought for a moment. "I-I think so?"

"We're gonna have to be in complicated positions, aren't we?" Molly asked as she yawned and sat down on a chair.

"No, Molly. You have to pretend to read on what color we should be." Gert instructed.

Alex grabbed your wrist. "I'll be on top of you." Your eyes widened in shock, and didn't see Nico's change of expression. "I-y-you're, what?"

It was all over in an instant. Everyone was in their areas and attempted to make some of them really difficult to make it seem like they were genuinely struggling. Alex was on top of you, his chest against your back, just as he said he would. Alex gave you a little tap on your arm. "Don't put your hand on the red spot."

"Then how am I supposed to balance myself?"

Alex glanced at his parents, who were on their way to the guesthouse, so he wrapped his arm around your waist to keep you steady and replaced your hand with his on the red circle. "There."

You were praying to whoever could hear you that he wouldn't notice your heart hammering out of your ribcage. Not only did his small act bring your body closer to his, but his face was only inches away from yours and his hot breath was fanning against your neck, forcing you to turn away in embarrassment.

When Geoffrey and Catherine arrived at the guesthouse, Alex's friends' loud complaints convinced them that you were all playing Twister.

"Hey, guys!" Alex greeted his parents, who were both smiling in joy to see everyone together again. "Look who showed up. How was the meeting?"

"Uh, good, good," Geoffrey replied. "Just wrapping up."

"We heard you guys weren't coming," Catherine told Alex's friends.

"Hope it's okay." Gert sheepishly smiled.

"Turns out we missed each other more than we cared to admit." Chase excused.

You wanted to laugh at how cheesy Chase sounded. And for Chase, he was internally screaming.

"So, then, everything's good here?" Geoffrey asked.

Molly shook her head with a grin. "I wouldn't say that. Nico just landed on green, so, um, things are about to get a little freaky."

Nico whined pretty convincingly. "Oh, my God!" The others chuckled while you smiled.

Catherine smiled at you. "(Y/n), you doing good?"

You looked up, your cheek lightly brushing against Alex's. "Mhm..." You hummed, couldn't manage to say a word about how close Alex is. Catherine chuckled. "I hope my son isn't crushing you with all his weight."

"Yeah, no, I got her," Alex reassured as he gently held you tighter so you wouldn't fall. "Nico would kill me if something bad happens to her."

"Damn right, Alex." Nico laughed.

Geoffrey and Catherine exchanged looks in delight. "Okay, then, we'll let you guys get to it," Catherin stated. "Parents are leaving soon if you kids need rides."

Except for Alex, who would crush you, Alex's parents turned around to leave, and the seven of you slumped on the Twister mat. Alex moved to the side and was new between you and Nico. "Think they bought it?" Karolina asked.

You sighed in relief and laid your head down on the ground, slightly wincing from the pain. Karolina and Alex looked at you worriedly. "Are you okay?" Alex asked in worry. "I didn't hold you too hard, did I?"

"Just a little headache..." You informed. "Hopefully, I could get to school tomorrow."

"Then you have to sleep early." Molly scolded, gaining some looks from Nico and Alex. "Promise me, (Y/n)."

Nico turned to you as you gave your best friend a weak smile. "I'll try, kiddo." You told Molly while Nico stood up and dusted herself off. "Do you want to take a nap for a moment?" She asked you.

You looked at her unsurely. "I thought your parents are wrapping up. We'll leave soon; there's no time for a nap." You stood up, but instantly failed when your knees gave in and your eyes closed. Karolina held you while Molly, Alex, and Nico approached you. "You can stay here for a while," Alex reassured. "I'll tell your parents to stay for a bit longer."

Nico gave Alex a nod while you exhaled, too tired to respond to anything. Karolina laid your unconscious self down on the couch, and Molly plugged your headset into your phone, wearing it to you so you could listen to music while resting. Molly had a feeling she and the others would start bickering about their parents, so she made sure you won't be able to hear them talk through music.

Because the music pounding in your ears drowned out Alex and his companions' voices, it did help you fall asleep. To make matters better, instead of a dreamless nap or a nightmare slumber, you were met by two friendly faces whom you would quickly forget when you wake up.

In the dream, you looked at yourself when you saw a mirror and saw yourself as a young girl. You returned your gaze to the female who was sitting on her chair, watching something. "What are you watching?" You approached a red-haired lady who was staring at her television screen. The young woman turned around and smiled at you warmly. "It's Bewitched."

"Is that an old show?"

The young woman slightly laughed. "Mhm, I guess. Do you want to watch it with me?"

You glanced back at the television screen and saw a beautiful character secretly using her magic powers. A huge smile formed on your lips, and you eagerly nodded. "Yes, please!"

What you didn't know was that Alex and his friends stopped talking after seeing your smile. Gert raised her eyebrows in surprise. "Wow, she must be in a good dream."

"Hopefully not a wet one," Chase replied, earning a nudge and glare from Nico. "What? I doubt she'll have a wet dream today. Unless she gets turned on from Alex holding her a while ago."

Alex rolled his eyes. "Chase..." He sighed in annoyance and gave Molly back her phone after borrowing it to see the photo she took. "You guys go on. I'll stay here for a bit longer to clean up our mess."

Chase nodded and walked out of the guesthouse with the others to see their parents. Alex returned the Twister box to one of its original locations before turning to face you, still soundly asleep. He picked up some trash and tossed it into a neighboring trash bin before looking around the room for other messes.

Alex stopped by in front of you and knelt down, observing your face. 'A creepy move...' He thought to himself until he found himself smiling when you stayed nibbling on your hoodie's sleeve. It was as if it was your pacifier to keep you calm. 'That's... adorable-nope, stop it.' Alex patted your head, and you opened your eyes. "Oh, shit. Did I wake you up?" He panicked.

You rubbed your eyes and sat up. "No, it's okay." You looked around sleepily. "Where are the others?"

"In the living room, maybe?" Alex shrugged. "Do you wanna join them now? I think your parents and Nico are waiting for you."

You nodded and stood up, fixing your attire. Alex caught a glimpse of your blue necklace before guiding you way out of the guesthouse. "Did you have a good rest? I hope you did."

You nodded once again. "Mhm." You replied. "I'm pretty sure I can stay up all night."

Your statement caused Alex to stop in his tracks and block your way. "Woah, woah, there, Sitcom. You're sleeping tonight. It's bad for your health to stay up all night."

"Wow, you actually care..."

"Well, yeah. If your parents or Nico find out you're exhausting yourself, they're going to be upset."

You stared at him for a moment before shrugging. "I'll try. I make no promises, though." Alex watched as you walked away, and he rubbed the back of his head before following you.
