Y/n was once a childhood friend of cillian.They were best friends and were inseparable until her parents had to shift from their hometown and she was gone.And he was left all alone

For years he wondered how y/n was.He would miss her so much sometimes and always wondered how she looked right now

He wouldn't deny that when they were young,he used to have slight feelings for her.Why wouldn't he?She was so beautiful,smart,funny,intelligent and was fearless

Y/n didn't have slight feelings,she actually fell in love with him as teens.But she couldn't even say it because she was gone

She wondered what he was doing,how he was.And she always wondered if she would meet him one day

Turns out her wish came true

She walked inside the beautiful cafe,the bell above the door rang and Judy,a young woman noticed her

"Hey Y/n"she smiled and waved at her

"Hello love,how are you doing?"y/n smiled and walked to her on the counter.

"I'm doing amazing"

"Did you go out with the guy you were telling me about?"Judy smiled and nodded

"He was so great and it was like the best date ever!"y/n smiled and nodded

"Glad you enjoyed.I'll just have a vanilla latte,I'm sitting by the window"she walked away

"You always do"Judy said making her roll her eyes playfully.Y/n sighed and sat down on the chair,she took out a book she was keen to read and waited for her coffee patiently

"Here's your coffee"Judy put down her cup on the table.Y/n smiled up at her then noticed some people staring

"Why does everyone always stare at me when I'm here?"she huffed in amusement.Judy looked around then looked at her with a 'are you serious?' Face

"Because they can't take their eyes of you lady.A beautiful rich woman sitting in a cafe reading alone?They're imagining dating you right now"

"Oh you talk too much"y/n scoffed making her chuckle and leave.She went back to reading her book and sipped on her coffee peacefully.

She felt someone walk past her and then sit on the other table in front.She didn't look up because it would be weird to stare at a stranger

"What would you like to have sir?"judy spoke.The man clicked his tongue and thought for a while

"How about a vanilla latte?"

That voice

It was so familiar

She had heard that deep voice before also.Her body shivered immediately when she heard the man speak but she didn't look up

"It'll be right with you sir"Judy said.Y/n could hear Judy walk away.She felt a little weird all of a sudden by the man's presence.

After a few minutes she brought him his coffee

"I see many people are fond of vanilla lattes?"judy small talked with the man.He chuckled and nodded taking a sip of his coffee

"Well I wasn't fond of it.I used to have a childhood friend who used to force me to drink it because she said it was the best"

Y/n remembered

The sentence he just said hit her like a déjà vu.She used to tell cillian to drink coffee but he used to drink only tea

"She seems nice"judy chuckled and walked away.Y/n was not able to concentrate on her book so she quietly drank her coffee and tried to keep her eyes down but something forced her to look up.
