13.Quinn and crane-3

She hummed and stretched tiredly.She felt like she was lying on something cold.When she looked properly she saw that she was lying on a metal table

"Ooh my back is killing me"she got up and stretched her back a little just when she heard a loud metal door creak open making her squint her eyes at the noise

"I see you're awake"a soothing voice of a man came from behind.It sounded way to familiar and when she looked back she saw Dr Jonathan crane walking up to her

"Dr crane?"Jonathan stood in front of her and opened her restraints on her feet

"I'm the flesh Miss Quinn.How are you feeling?"he removed his glasses and kept them on the table with other of his syringes and bottles

"Well I feel pretty shit.I didn't know Dr crane had a crazy side?"she smirked and bit her lip making him clear his throat trying to ignore what she just ignited in him

"Every single person on this planet has a crazy side Miss Quinn"he almost smiled

"Does the joker know I'm here?"

"He doesn't"

"You're working against him?"

"Seems like it"

"For me?"

He stayed silent for a while and passed the question.Y/n sighed agreeing that maybe he didn't want to answer that

"So watcha doin on me today?"she asked excitedly jumping down from the table and looking around at the things he had

"Hmm pretty impressive stuff.What is that a new toxin?"she pointed at a small yellow bottle kept there.

"Yes and that is what I'm going to try on you today"he picked up the bottle and filled the syringe with the yellow liquid

"Is it gonna kill me?"

"It's going to make you face your fears"he kept the syringe in one hand,he pulled her to him by her hand.Her body collided with his and the excited smile now disappeared

She stared in his eyes softly,they were so blue and beautiful she could look at them for hours.Just when she felt a prickling pain on her neck and she didn't even realise that he had already drugged her

Her pupils dilated.She felt her legs wobble and wiggle like she they were slime.She stumbled away from him a little when she felt dizziness and breathlessness hit her all together

"Did-did you give me a higher d-dose?"she tried to speak but it was like her tongue was burning in her mouth.

For a second there crane almost felt like he wanted to take her out of this but it was necessary for his experiments

Y/n felt her body go limp and she fell on the dingy floor.She backed herself against the wall and clung her body together into a small ball

She started to let out a maniac laughter.Tears spilled from her eyes and she could see different shades of colours everywhere

Jonathan was shocked.It was a fear toxin.Why was she not screaming in horror like all his other test subjects did.

"Fascinating"he mumbled and walked in closer to her,he kneeled down in front her and she backed away more because a sudden wave of sadness and nervousness hit her but still not fear

He started to noticed that it was starting to get worse.The toxin was reaching her brain so he immediately ran to the table and grabbed a syringe and filled it with a clear liquid

He ran back to her and without waisting time drugged her again so that she would not die by the dose.Her laughter started to ease and she felt normal,as in dizzy and loose like she was drunk

"What-a roller-c-coaster"she tried to mumbled words and smiled happily.She hummed and giggled a little in between and fell into Jonathan's arms and he caught her on time before she fell

He closed his eyes and breathed in the scent of her hair.He softly stroked her hair and looked at her

She looked calm,peaceful.Not the usual crazy.They we're enjoying the moment quietly when suddenly Jonathan heard a loud crash.

He was startled and looked behind to see that something crashed from his ceiling

Or maybe someone

"Why do you have Harley Crane"his deep,throaty voice came from the dark.Crane put Harley down steadily and stood up.He walked closer to the shadows when a figure appeared from the front

"Fancy seeing you here"he smiled

"I should've known you were more than just a doctor"he growled in anger

"Oh come on batman.Everyone is more than you think they are.Are you here to take Harley from me?"he put his hands in his pockets making a fake sad face

"I'm here to take the both of you"batman grabbed his collar and threw him,his body hitting the wall only making him laugh

"Oh you might wanna look behind you"he grunted while getting back up.Batman turned and was immediately hit to the head by one of his goons.

Crane found that the perfect opportunity to throw a shock ball to batman's feet.He growled and fell on his knees before he hit crane on his face and slammed him against the wall

"What are you planning to do crane?!!"he shouted in anger.Crane laughed a little and sprayed batman in the face,making him loose his grip on Johnathan.

"Oh don't worry Mr batman it won't hurt you"he smiled.Batman grabbed him again and slammed him against the wall hard.

He was about to spray him with the fear toxin but his weapon was thrown against him.Jonathan coughed continuously,the toxin spreading in his body

He could hear distorted growling and when Jonathan looked up he saw the batman looking like a demon,with blood coming out of his eyes and mouth

"What is it you're planning to do crane?"batman grabbed his chin.Crane had his eyes wide in shock but he didn't say anything

"Dr crane isn't here right now,but if you'd like to make an appointment-

And with that he was hit to the face

And it all went dark
