Love ruined her

Every day,she only wondered when it would all stop

Tommy and y/n had history together.Before war and a few years after it,they were so in love with each other that it was impossible to separate them.But when someone came in between,they were left broken

A woman named Grace Burgess took a job as a barmaid in the garrison pub.Tommy didn't like the woman and neither did he trust her at first

Y/n knew something was wrong about grace.She didn't like the way grace was behind Tommy.And when the truth came in front,that grace was a secret agent,Tommy told her at once to leave and never come back

But after years..she comes back

And only when y/n had gone to Australia for two months for family business and when Tommy and y/n had a horrible fight.Tommy missed her dearly and it got worse when grace came back to him and forced herself upon him at the time when he was angry at y/n and almost ended things between them

Tommy couldn't help himself

And he kissed grace

He cursed himself for such a mistake.But he was angry too,so he let himself fall in it and kept seeing grace

Y/n came back and she found out

She got angry at Tommy and things finally went on a full stop.She didn't come back to Birmingham for days but Polly told her to come back because Tommy was getting married

Feeling broken inside,Polly suggested her to just be happy for him.Y/n knew that was the best thing to ease her pain so she did

She played along

But a sudden incident shook Tommy.Grace was killed,shot during the Shelby gala.Y/n was there and she saw the look on Tommy's face and a lifeless grace in his arms

Y/n was there with Tommy for days at his house to help him get over this.Thomas never showed the inside of his emotions.He couldn't have been more thankful for y/n to be with him

In between she did manage to make him smile once and like an idiot she thought that there was still something between them.

Y/n was sleeping in the guest room upstairs at Tommy's manor.She suddenly heard a loud sound of glass breaking.She being a light sleeper got up from bed and rushed to Tommy's room

"Tommy?!"she slammed open his door.Tommy was down on the ground,drunk and glass was shattered everywhere in his room.

"Oh god Tommy what's wrong with you?!"she rushed to him and helped him get up.He looked so weak and broken.Y/n helped him up on the bed and grabbed the broken whiskey bottle from his hands

"You know"he spoke grabbing her attention.She turned her head to look at him and saw him staring at her with half closed eyes

"I'm sorry"he said taking her by shock

"I'm sorry for all that I've done to you.I'm sorry we left each other...and I got married and didn't look back at you.I know you said you moved on...but I see that pain in your eyes.I loved you so much and I'm-im sorry"a tear slipped out from the corner of his eye.Y/n felt her eyes starting to water

She approached Tommy and put the blanket over him letting tears slip out of her eyes

"I love you Tommy"she confessed

"I love you too grace"he cried and closed his eyes.Y/n felt her heart shatter to pieces,the last that was left of it.

She closed her eyes and sobbed quietly beside his bed.Feeling her world come down all at once she felt like this has to be the end of her love because she just couldn't take it anymore.Tommy Shelby managed to shatter her heart again.

And yet She still loved him
