9.coming home

It had been so long since she had seen him.His closest friend,the only person who understood him more than anyone.

Tommy was gone for eight months to Austria just because of a business deal.Y/n used to talk to him on the phone and used to ask him when he would come back

He would apologise and would say that it would take more time and it stretched out to eight months.His eyes starved to see y/n.Yes she was a childhood friend only but at the same time his day only used to get better at seeing her

Y/n waited for months until one day,Ada gets a call while polly and y/n are hanging out at Tommy's arrow house which he gave to her until he was gone.

Ada was inside making tea for her,polly and y/n,who was sitting outside on a chair with poll near the coffee table,with her feet on the table.

"Frances pass me the cups please"ada said putting the kettle on the tray just when the phone rang.Ada huffed and wiped her hands and rushed to the phone kept on a table outside the kitchen

"Hello?"she asked

Y/n sighed closing her eyes while waiting for Ada to bring the tea.Ada came out running and screaming startling y/n and polly almost making y/n fall off the chair

"What?"polly asked.Ada looked down at y/n out of her breath.

"What?Will u spit it out already?"y/n said sighing in frustration

"Tommy's coming back!"ada shook y/n's shoulders

"What?!"y/n stood up in surprise

"He's coming back!"ada said making y/n smiled out happily,ear to ear.She ran inside the house to already start making the arrangements

Polly and Ada were happy he was coming back and they had already calculated y/n's reaction when he would be coming back home

"Frances!Frances!Tell the chefs to get the food all ready.Here's the list,tell the maids to clean the house,every single floor,fan wall everything!"she said breathlessly throwing a list on the table startling Frances

Y/n was so happy he was coming back and just wanted to hug him tightly

The next morning,the black gate to the house opened.Tommy's Bentley came through the driveway.

He was sitting in the back seat looking out of the window,a smile spreading on his lips when he saw y/n standing there smiling brightly.

His breathing calmed and he already felt so relaxed and happy that he was back only at seeing her.

"Tommy!"she jumped on him and hugged him tight even before he got out of the car

"Woah"he chuckled and hugged her back breathing in her familiar scent.She pulled away a little and smiled

"I missed you so fucking much.Don't you dare go anywhere again"

"That won't happen but I'll take you with me"he said looking in her beautiful eyes feeling calm that he was staring at them again

Y/n blushed a little and pulled him in the house by his hand.And without saying anything he happily followed

That night neither y/n nor Tommy slept.She talked to him and told him everything he missed out on

"And Arthur slipped on-on a freaking banana peel that Finn just ate"she laughed so hard tears almost slipped out of her eyes.Tommy laughed a little too but only on her reaction

He tried to calm her down but she only laughed more continuously crying and laughing

"I swear Tommy you should've seen it.He got back up and beat the hell out of Finn.I promise he really said he would never eat bananas again"she laughed.Tommy chuckled at how much she was laughing and crying

"Stop laughing before you faint"he said and she nodded and closed her mouth for a two seconds before she burst out in laughter again

She hugged Tommy's shoulder for support so that she won't fall of the couch they were sitting on.Tommy smiled and looked at her.

She finally went a little quiet and looked into his eyes with a smile.

"I missed you a lot Tommy.I'm glad you're back here"

"Well it was only for you love"he said making her chuckle slightly before a comfortable silence fell over them.Tommy hugged her waist so that she'd be closer

She didn't say anything and waited for things to go the way they were supposed to.He softly brushed his thumb against her cheek

He missed this so much

Tommy slowly leaned in closer and only brushed his lips against her asking for permission  to which she gladly responded by kissing him back.

They smiled into the kiss and hugged each other closer

He was never letting her go ever again

"What are you thinking about Tommy?"she looked up into his eyes while they both laid in each other's arms.Tommy looked down at her and smiled

"I'm always thinking about you love.You're always on my mind" his words made her blush.After all these years he still had the power to do that

She smiled and kissed his lips.It still used to give him shivers like they just had their first kiss.That's the kind of effect they had on each other

And they never complained about it
