Tommy,who was married to his wife grace burgess...it was sure that he didn't love his wife as much as he hated y/n

A beautiful gala was organised on behalf of his wife's birthday.Grace stood with Tommy,laughing and talking to people thanking them for their wishes and gifts

Tommy nodded at them with acknowledgment but his mind was occupied somewhere else.

Suddenly he noticed that the aura of the room changed and that the sound of chattering slightly disappeared.

Tommy,turning his head a little to examine the room for a source of disturbance noticed a familiar figure

His jaw clenched tightly,his heart skipping a beat,beating faster,burning his soul.Something took over him at locking eyes with her

She stood there in a beautiful white gown,deep neck showing her cleavage a little with a sleek cut on the side.

She was dressed to seduce everyone in the room,at least that's what Tommy thought.

"Oh Tommy is that her?"grace said touching his shoulder,Tommy looked at his wife confused

"You know her?"

"I invited her"she smiled and looked at her.Y/n walked towards tommy and grace.Tommy clenching his jaw to control himself tried to put on a calm face

Y/n putting on a smile looked at Tommy opening her mouth to greet them

"Mrs Shelby pleasure to meet you"she ignored Tommy and wished grace instead.Tommy tightened his fists behind him

"The pleasure is all mine Miss l/n.I'm so happy you could come today you look absolutely beautiful"

"Likewise"she smiled shaking Grace's hand

Turning her eyes to Tommy with a smirk on her face she looked away without saying anything knowing it would make him crazy

Putting down the fire burning inside him,Tommy walked away from them.Grace noticing his odd behaviour shook it off

"You're necklace is beautiful"y/n complimented sipping on her champagne glass

"Thank you so much,Tommy gave it to me as a gift"

"It sure is beautiful"she raised her glass as a gesture making grace smile innocently.If only she knew the necklace was her property before she invested it in the diamond chain

Y/n chatted with grace for a while before she walked away seeing a tall man standing at the corner.

"Arthur Shelby.Pleasure to finally meet you"she approached him with her hand in front.Arthur who was smoking near the fireplace turned his head

"Ah y/n l/n"he said in a gruff voice shaking hands with her.Tommy from the corner of his eye watched as she talked to Arthur

Arthur looked like he was developing interest.He would chuckle or would sometimes even kiss her hand as a gesture

"Tommy?You alright?"john asked noticing him staring harshly at Arthur and y/n.
