Y/n looked at herself in the mirror,her heart beating at a fast pace,feeling nervous yet excited for the gala Tommy has hosted for her today.

It was her birthday yet she was giving Tommy a gift.A gift he would love and a gift he had wanted for long

"Mr Shelby has good taste"Mary smiled and placed the pendant on her neck.Y/n smiled and touched the blue jewel.

"He does"she blushed.Being married to him was the best thing that happened to her.Y/n expressed this thought in her vows on their marriage day

Closing her eyes at the thought of the memory,she smiled and stood up ready for the gala.

Tommy stood by the car telling his men to be on watch today for they could expect trouble by the Italians.

Tommy heard heels clicking on the concrete of the stairs.He looked up and saw y/n walking down from the stairs

"Evening Mr Shelby"she smiled as he kissed her gloved hand.Tommy chuckled and sneaked his arm around her waist,the soft silk of her dress feeling like water on his skin

"Evening Mrs Shelby.You look ravishing"he said whispering in her ear making chills run down her skin.

"I know"she smiled and chuckled at his eager behaviour to kiss her.She pecked on his lips and he took her to the car

They sat together on the back seat and drove away from the house,fingers interlocked with each other's smiling all the way while Tommy just looked at her

They reached the venue,it was decorated beautifully.Tommy got busy in the crowd and so did y/n

Talking to Polly,Ada or some other ladies,but still she would search through the crowd for those enchanting blue eyes

And when she would lock them with hers,she would earn a smirk from him to which she would just smile

"All this talking made me tired"y/n sighed.Tommy smiled and looked down at the pendant on her neck

"When I saw this"he paused and touched the jewel

"I knew I should've bought it for you.Because it was beautiful....but seeing it on you...it has lost its grace to you"

Her heart melted at his words.She leaned in pressing her lips on his.He smiled and kissed her with passion and love.

She knew it was time to tell him so she pulled away

"Tommy...I have something to tell you"he touched her shoulder,eyebrows furrowing in confusion

"I'm....I'm pregnant Tommy"she smiled.His face lit up and that might've happened after years.

"What?"he asked in shock

"I'm pregnant.You're going to be a father"she laughed with teary eyes.Tommy touched both her cheeks and smiled ear to ear kissing her immediately

She chuckled in the kiss because happiness finally found the two of them.

Tommy was so deeply involved in the news...that he didn't realise what happened behind him

"FOR ANGEL!!!!"a man shouted.Tommy recognised those words and turned around pulling away from her.

The man shot the bullet

And

It hit her

She jerked back by the force,the smile disappearing from her face.

"NO!!!!!"tommy shouted.Arthur jumped on the man.If only he could've come two seconds earlier...he could've saved his sister

Tommy turned around and held y/n before she could fall.Her body went limp.He kneeled down but never let go of her.

Y/n closed her eyes feeling tears run down from them

"SOMEONE CALL THE FUCKING AMBULANCE!!!"tommy shouted on top of his voice.Arthur and John were beating the man to his death,hot angry tears in their eyes

Polly and Ada rushed at the scene,horror filling there eyes

Y/n was covered in a pool of blood

The bullet hit her stomach

Tommy was seeing the love of his life fade away in front of her.Y/n looked into his eyes for it was the only thing she wanted to see before she died

It had always been this way.Tommy touched her stomach,a sob coming out from his throat.He touched the blood not wanting to believe this was real

He hugged her body close and kept whispering

"It's all my fault.Stay with me please y/n"he could feel y/n touch his cheek with all the strength and time she had left

"It's...not you fault"she replied in his ear faintly before her hand fell down from his cheek.Tommy closed his eyes and hugged her tightly not wanting to let go of the only woman he had ever loved

Tommy looked into her eyes and closed them shut.It was the hardest thing he had to do,the eyes that he loved to think off the whole day,were now lifeless and dull and he had to shut them off

Tommy remembered her wedding vows.And he now realised what it meant
