"Out of the dark cave it came out...the air was still, silent. She stood outside, her feet not being able to move"

"...And then ROAR!"she shouted, the kids all flinched in surprise.

"There came the giant!IT WOULD EAT HER!"y/n screamed placing the dinasaur toy on the table fake screaming

The kids laughed at her play

"And how stupid was she to just stand there eh?!"Y/n asked

"Very stupid actually"a girl said.Y/n looked at her and laughed

"Now let me tell you all one thing alright.Whenever you see something scary comin at you....better run before it's too late or ITLL EAT YOU ALL!"y/n grabbed the little girl and put her on her lap making them all laugh together

Footsteps echoed in the hallway to the dining room.A heel and a boot.Opening the doors at time of prayers of the nuns

A man and a woman walked in

Sister looked up and saw the blinders coming to them.

Polly gray

And Thomas Shelby

"Alright listen up now!Come on sit down all of ya!"y/n clapped her hands together and the children all sat down

"Now I'm going to tell you a special story alright?"she crossed her legs and sat down on the chair

"Once upon a time"

"There was a bad man"

With a click of his lighter,he lighted his cigarette

"We don't smoke here Mr Shelby"

"Well I fucking do"he replied coldly

"That man used to break all the rules,he was cold hearted, made of steel"

"Nor do we use language"the nun said looking away from him.

"Nor do we find fault in the innocent, yet you do"polly lighted her cigarette and crossed her legs. They all went quiet and the nun stared at Tommy who was looking down at the ground

"May I ask what this Meeting is about?"the nun started to get impatient and angry

"The man had fallen in love once..very long time ago.But his love was taken away from him"

"The grace Shelby foundation is the biggest single source of funding for this charitable institution devoted to the care of orphaned girls of south Birmingham eh?"he grabbed his briefcase

"For which we give thanks"the nun replied

"Uh huh"tommy said sliding a file in front of her

"Now this man...he became even colder. His heart was in this lock, and the key....he threw it in the river"

"I heard there's a report in this file...about children being I'll treated by you here?Is this true sister?"polly asked raising her eyebrow. The sister went quiet.

"You're accusing us of a shameful act in gods house. And you peaky blinders come here in gods home accusing his servants?"

"There is god...and there is peaky blinders"Tommy said.

"But like in every tale...there's always a saviour.Someone who can take him out of his trouble"

"I want to know if you're nuns working here are treating the kids well?Who have you hired recently?"tommy asked blowing out smoke from his mouth

"Just...a girl. She's the new teacher for the kids"tommy nodded his head and stood up from his seat. The nun stood up to stop him because she was afraid he'd scare the kids

"Sit down!"he shouted before leaving the dining room.Polly looked at the nun

"You and I need to talk"she said with eyes raging of anger

"The key he threw away in the river, was found by a girl. She swam into it just to save him.He was a stranger to her...but his love was too strong for her and that she was pulled to him"

Tommy walked through the corridors to the class in search of this teacher.Hiding his eyes under his hat,he moved them searching around the rooms

Stopping immediately,he could see kids all sitting on the ground listening to a woman speaking inside

"And now after a long time of finding each other, the man finally knocked on her door...and he confessed his love for her"y/n smiled at how cute the kids looked after listening to the story

Tommy stared inside through the crack of the door.Opening the door he looked at the woman sitting there

The hard look was dropped from his face.It softened. His eyes showed a change in emotions

"And what happened next?"

"Well what do you expect to happen?"y/n stood up and leaned down to the girl. She wondered for a second and gasped

"They got married!"she gasped.Y/n laughed and grabbed the girl in her arms.

"Yes they did"she laughed. The kids all clapped there hands together.Y/n was about to speak further when she noticed someone standing at the door

The smile dropped from her face.A tall man in a dark attire stood there.Y/n saw a woman walk from behind him

"Is she the one?"The woman asked putting her hands on her waist.Y/n looked back at the kids and put the girl down

"Alright why don't we all start with the drawings hm?"Y/n stood back up and walked over to the woman and man standing on the door

The nun walked to them in a rush.Y/n closed the door behind and stared at them with confusion

"Sister? Can I ask what this is about?"Tommy didn't say anything, was too busy examining her.Polly was waiting for his answer when she said it herself

"Wanted to check if sister here didn't hire another faulty teacher darling"

"Why would she?"y/n questioned straightforwardly.Polly raised her eyebrows and looked at Tommy

"Tommy?"polly asked for an answer

"We'll be leaving here"he turned around and walked away simply without saying another word leaving Polly standing there frustrated.

Polly followed behind Tommy and they left the building there and then

She closed the door to the car and scoffed waiting for Tommy to sit so that she could scold him

"Can I ask what happened there Thomas?"

"Let's leave poll"tommy said clearing his throat and starting the car.Polly scoffed at his odd behaviour and gave up

Y/n walked to the balcony of her room, wearing nothing but a silk nightgown, and a shrug to cover her.Staring out at the sky,she wondered who that man was.

He definitely was dangerous. But who was he?

Tommy pouring himself a drink without water, sat down on the sofa in his manor in front of the fireplace.

Sighing and leaning back on his seat he looked up at the ceiling. All he could think of was that girl.

The fire behind her eyes, the history she held, the fair yet sharp features she had.Tommy couldn't get her out of his mind

Curiosity got the better of him
