Katherine's POV 

"Alastor moody"

It was finally Friday, our first class with alastor moody. Ron was eager for this moment to come since Fred & George told him the class was amazing. I thought otherwise; we were talking about Fred and George weasley, they thought risking your life for money was wicked. So lets just say that I'm a little bit scared of this ending up like a disaster (don't blame me, our first DADA teacher had Voldemort behind his head, our second one barely knew how to cast properly a lumos spell and was a fraud. Lupin was the best one I can't say nothing wrong about him) (even though he almost killed me when he was transformed and gave me a huge scar on my waist)

"Ex-auror, ministry malcontent, and your new defense against the dark arts teacher" he said "I'm here because dumbledore asked me, end of story, goodbye, the end. Any questions?"

How inspiring

"When it comes to the dark arts I believe in the practical approach" he started "but first, which of you can tell me how many unforgivable curses there are?"

I told y'all, disaster

"Three sir" hermione answered.

"And they are so named?"

"Because the funny use of one of them would earn you a one-way ticket to azkaban" I answered. What? I never said I didn't like a class with a bit of disaster.

"The ministry thinks your way too young to learn this curses until your 7th year but I say different! You need to know what they're up against you, you need to be prepared!" He practically yelled, he started writing some things on the board giving us his back "and you need to find a better place to stick your bubblegum to mr. Finnigan!"

We all looked ad Seamus who was sticking the bubblegum under the desk.

"I think that old codger can see at the back of his head-" he whispered, but he was cut off by moody throwing the chalk at him.

"And hear everything you say!" Mad-eye yelled. Suddenly he calmed down and whispered out loud "so, which curse shall we see first? Weasley!" 

"Yes?" Ron answered with a whimper.

"Stand!"

Ron did, very shakily.

"Give us a curse"

"W- w- well, dad did tell me about one" he stuttered "uh- the- the imperius curse"

"Oh yeah, your father could tell you everything about that one, it gave the ministry a few problems some years ago. Perhaps this will show you why"

Alastor walked to his desk and opened a jar with a spider in it, he casted the engorgio curse on it and placed it in his hand.

"Imperio" with that, he made the spider swing all around the classroom. First to Neville and I's table, right on my notebook. I quickly pushed myself away as it moved closer to me. Then to crabe's hands and head.

"It's completely harmless!"

The spider then swung over to padma's arm. Then to Ron's head how great.

"If he bites, you'll die" 

This was not true for obvious reasons. First, he can't risk his students to die for a few legal reasons and second, I read about that one in a book.
