~"my ginny?"~
They were days away from the Yule ball and Harry nor ron had been lucky with the date thing.
"How are you supposed to ask one of them? They are always in groups!" Harry complained besides Ron.
"Mate, you fight dragons, but you can't get a girl?" Ron pointed out looking around to search for someone.
"I think I prefer the dragons..."
"Look mate, there's Katie" he said, pointing at the girl who was sitting on a bench alone, besides the fountain "you should ask her"
"Yeah..." he said, he was about to walk towards her when Neville appeared from the entrance and took Katie with him, he'd asked him something and she nodded, he looked really happy, and so did she.
"They are going together, I can assure you that mate, you should ask someone else" Ron said, patting his best friend's back.
Harry was just standing there, looking at the large doors where Katie and Neville'd disappeared.

"This is mad, at this rate, we'll be the only ones in our year without dates" Ron said, before snaped hit the back of his head "ow!" He groaned "well, us and Neville" Ron said, giving Harry a knowingly look.
"Yeah but then again he-" Harry started, kinda hopeful that nobody had said nothing about it.
"It might interest you to know, that Neville's already got someone" Hermione spatted.
Harry's smile vanished, they where definitely going together. He stared blankly at his quill until a piece of paper flew to Ron's hand.
Get a move or all the good ones will have gone
"Who are you taking?" Ron asked fred, giving him the paper back.
He gave him a check this out look and after crumbling the piece of paper, he threw it to Angelina.
"Angelina!" He whispered.
"What?" She mouthed
"Do you... wanna go... to the ball... with me?" He whispered.
"To the ball? Yeah, alright then" she whispered back smiling.
Fred winked at his brother.
Ron struggled, and managed out "oi, hermione, you're a girl"
Harry and katie looked at each other and tried to stop Ron from messing whatever he was about to do.
"Oh well spotted"
"Come with one of us?" Snape hit him again, then Harry.
"Come on, is one thing for a bloke to show up alone, for a girl it's just sad"
"Well, believe it or not someone else asked me" she spatted, and stood up to hand snape her notebook. "And I said yes!" She said, getting her quill "c'mon katie" she said to her friend who'd already finished too.
They both left together the classroom.
"Bloody hell, she's lying right?" Ron asked Harry.
