Fifty-four:
Jesper Fahey paced nervously. He shouldn't have had any of the champagne since this was a job that he was doing but the night had worn on and neither Alina nor Aleksander had showed. He had on an earpiece that he used to talk to Wylan who was currently at the DJ booth that was set up in the corner.
"Wylan, I don't like this."
"You agreed to it," Wylan hissed.
"I know-----but there's something off."
"What do you mean that there's something off?" Wylan asked.
"Luda was supposed to show up now, and she hasn't. Alina has been gone for a while and there's no sign of Aleksander or The Starless Saint."
"Alright, what do you propose that we do?" Wylan said.
"I propose we go find the scariest person we know and try to figure out what's going on."
"Wasn't Kaz already involved in some part of this?"
"I'm not talking about Kaz."
"Then who were you talking about?"
"Leave the booth," Jesper said, "and I'll show you."
