Chapter 3- She's more important then my life

Percy held his sword out to Arachne. "Get away from Annabeth." He growled. Annabeth was stumbling back, terrified. Every since they had landed, Annabeth had been acting weird, screaming and pleading with the gods to kill her so she could be with her friends. Yeah, she thought the 7 were dead.

Percy had possibly broken his arm in the landing.

His sword arm.

Arachne laughed. "Sea boy, she needs to die. I don't think you understand. I-" She didn't finish. Percy cut off her head. She reappered but, she couldn't move. "GAGGAAA! Boy, as soon as the death trap wears off, you'll be dead." Percy pulled Annabeht into his back and ran into a dark hall way. He collaspsed. Annabeth shook her head.

"Perc?" she asked. She sounded back to normal. "It felt like I was possessed! I could see me acting crazy but, I couldn't do anything. I'm so so-" Percy stopped her with a kiss.

"Beth, it's fine. But are you hurt?" Annabeth started to cry.

"Percy, be concerned about your-self for a second! You landed pretty hard. Why did you land first?"

"I um, kinda moved so I would land and you would land last." Percy murmured. He held his right arm.

"You idiot!"  Annabeth scanned him for wounds. His left ankle was bloody. He had a bad wound on his back. His arm was terribble. Annabeth noticed all of it.

"It's not that bad, Owl head," Percy said. He bit his lip. He hurt, all over. Maybe landing first was a stupid idea but, Annabeth wasn't hurt so, his mission was accomplished. Well, other then her ankle. But it was looking better.

Annabeth saw him holding back pain. "Percy," she ordered. "Sleep. Now. Or. Else." Percy tried to protest but, he was already drifting off. He dreamed of a family with Annabeth after the war. Usually his dreams were bad but, this was great. Percy thought he was finally getting good luck.

Then he awoke to Annabeth screaming.
