Hazel

Much to Hazel's surprise, there were perks to being a Gaea minion.

Free food, free weapondry, protection, a bed to sleep on.

But, fo course, she still hated it.

All of Gaea's minions (Hazel was the only halfblood) had been shot with a drug. It made your senses hightened in battle and you kill anything that isn't on your side. Hazel could feel it in her blood. She was a brainwashed superficial videogame player and Gaea was the chubby kid playing the game.

Every mornign they would file out of their corridors and to the lunchroom. They ate an odd gray soup that tasted like nothing.

Then they would train past lunchtime, but every other day they ate lunch. At 3:30 they usually had small missions to carry out, unless your were very trusted by Gaea, then you had a long and difficult mission.

They would eat tiny sandwhiches and the gray soup for dinner. The rest of the day was half plan battles, half train. At 10 pm, file back in the corridors. Light's out was at 11.

Hazel would lie awake at night, quietly crying into her pillow. She'd almost killed Leo, and now her friends didn't trust her.

_

"Soldiers!" Called an ogre at breakfast time. "All the advanced placements will be doing a special project today, so follow me if you're in."

Hazel got up with her group members, happy to not have to finish her soup, and follow the ogre to a cooridor that had 7 doors for 7 members. Behind each door was a sterile white hospital room.

Gaea herself stood in front of one door.

"Hello, soldiers." Everyone immdently straightened and saluted, except Hazel.

"Today, we will.....drug you. This drug will make you only thirst for the blood of one exact demigod of prophecy, understand?"

Hazel gulped.

"First up...Hazel Levesque." The ogre grabbed her arm and shoved her in a room, where two dracance were dressed as nurses. They held he down on the bed and put an IV in her arm. Her vision began to swim.

"Now Hazzzel, don't forget- This might make you dizzzzzzzy." he nurse smiled and they both slithered out the door to take the next patient to their room.

Hazel waited for  a few minutes, her vision getting more and more muddled, before she sat up. "Uh huh." She glanced at the door, then yanked the IV out of her arm. "Ah!" She seethed. It hurt like Hades.

She swung her legs over the side and stood, but immdently fell down, the room spinning. "No...." She murmur, and used the IV stand to get up, but she tripped over her own feet and cut her arm on the stand. The blood made her more dizzy. "No, no...."

She looked over at the bedside stand, and stumbled do it, her vision was now dimming. She'd be out like a light any second now....

She stood shakedly on the table and looked up. Perfect, a vent, She used all the weak strength left in her body and yanked the gate off. It was just big enough for Hazel to fit. She wiggled inside ad was so disoriented she didn't put the gate back up. she scrawled through the vents before her vision went black as night, and the drug flowed through her blood.
