So peeps.

I recently searched House of Hades Fan fiction on the little discover box here, and realized-

I am on the second page. Almost the top of the second page.

THAT'S HUGE FOR ME

Porbably doesn't matter to any of you, but I have decided to write an extra large chappie to celebrate.

Which is why this took sooooo long.....

Anywhosies...

TO LE STORY

Leo

When Leo's world went black, he freaked out.

Who wouldn't though?

Maybe Percy, who seemed like the type to laugh in the face of death, or Annabeth, who wasn't afraid of much, but not Leo.

He tried to move, but nothing happened. All that he saw was black.

Well this is sucktastic, He thought to himself.

But the son of Hephaestus hadn't given up yet.

Everything's dark? Well, let's shine some light on this situation.

He concentatrated, hoping to see light. And....after about 10 minutes, he saw something!

Yes, yes, yes!

Then the light dissapeared.

No, no, no!

Then a bright flash appeared. Leo would have sheilded his eyes if he could move.

Then he was in a recording studio.

"What the-" He looked around. Ghostly forms were all over the room, sitting in chairs, standing around, all looking terrified and or bored. Then Leo looked down.

He was a ghost too.

"No fri-"

"Ah, ah, ah, Son of Hephaestus." Said a grave voice.

Leo looked up.

"Oh, fabulous. You're Charon, aren't you? And I'm dead?" Leo said, rembering some things he had read.

The man Leo had seen, Charon,  was in a boat, with black robes. He had charcoly skin, and every couple seconds, he changed from the robes to a nice suit.

"Yes, and yes.  Do you have a drachma?" Charon asked, holding out a hand fr the money. "Only those who pay can ride my ferry to the underworld."

"The underworlds in a recording studio? DOA? I know there's budget cuts but this-"

"Do you have the coin or not?!"

"Don't get your skirt in a twist, I got it." Leo dug his hand in his short pockets, not expecting to find a drachma, as he didn't have one before. But....

"Ah yes, perfect payment." Charon said acceptingly as Leo pulled one out. It laid flat out on his palm.

"But-"

"Your friends must be smarter then they look," Charon inturpted. "Giving the dead a coin before you..rid the body is cultural."

"Oh." Leo said, still dumbstruck when Charon said the word "dead".

How could it come to this? One of the seven of prophecy, dead?? Because someone stabbed him? Leo didn't even know who. He had been stabbed from behind, and none of his friends had said who.

Leo placed the coin in Charon's hand and climbed shakedly into the boat.

The dress guy started rowing away, into a tunnel of darkness that had appeared out of nowhere. Leo caught his breath as they went in.

"So, you're the judges?" Leo asked skepticly as he stood in front of the judgment pavilion, which housed the three masked judges,

One of them nodded, not speaking.

Then one did speak.

"Leo Valdez, son of the god of fire and blacksmiths, Hephaestus and the mortal...Ezmerelda."

Leo's throat tightened. "Uh....yes."

"One of the seven of prophecy. Can control fire." The first judge said in an approving tone.

"Killed his mother though." The middle judge said gruffly.

"Did not!" The last judge said. She sounded younger then the first and second judges. The first seemed like an older women, but the middle guy sounded like some old grumpy guy.

"Ondine, hold your tongue." The first judge commanded. Leo wasn't sure if they were supposed to say their names, but., whatever.

Ondine something or another stiffened. "Yes, Andromedia."

"Well then," Judge numero #2 said. "Perhaps fields of punishment?"

Leo gulped.

"No, no, no. I vote Elysium." Andromedia said.

#1 and 2 looked over at Ondine.

"I vote......Elysium."

The judges all looked at Leo, who's eyes were wide.

Elysium?? The ultimate part package? Leo deserved  that, according to the judges?

Huh.

"Well, two against one. We win, Minos."

Minos, apppearently the middle judge, slouched, and glared at the masked older women. "Fine."

Leo dissapeared in a flash of light.

When he could see, he was on a cobblestone path. Brick and cement houses lined the sidewalk.  Children laughed and parents smiled. Everything seemed great. It smelled like churros to Leo, which was awesome.

"Hey Leo," Said a voice behind him.

He whirled around, wondering who could possibly know him here, and saw a sight that made his eyes go to the size of saucers. He had only seen this guy in pictures before, but it was obvious who he was.

"I'm Beckendorf."
