THE PERCY CHAPTER, AS REQUESTED *LE WINK*

WARNING- SOMEWHAT BLOODY, AND INVOLVED A CHARACTER DEATH

Percy

PERCY WAS AWARE HAZEL COULDN'T HEAR HIM, BUT HE KEPT TALKING TO HER.

"It's gonna be okay." He would whisper every few seconds, pressing closer and closer to the golden wall, Hazel hanging limply over his shoulder. "We'll be fine." He would mumble as the ogre's licked their lips and Gaea took her time walking over, taking long strides with a smirk on her face.

"Perseus Jackson-" She continued before he could growl that it was "Percy" not "Perseus". "Seems like you've finally run out of luck."

"Eh, I dunno. I mean, I flew out of a volcano once and got cared for by Calypso for-" Percy stopped short, thinking Gaea wouldn't understand. Much to his surprise, though, Gaea was smirking.

"Thought I didn't know about your lifelong list of accolmplishments?"

"I'm pretty famous down in Tartarus, am I?"

Gaea scowled at the word Tartarus. "You do realize, Perseus, that we are still in Tartarus."

"We're-...what?"

"This, brain boy-" Percy winced. "Is my palace. When I come onto Earth, I'll be twice as tall as my sons, the giants. However, here, I merely possess the body of a young girl named Voleta who died two years ago."

Percy sputtered. "But- you can't just- tall as- you possessed some random girl?"

"Yes. I had a deal with one of my minions. Soldiers, if you prefer." Gaea continued, pushing a lock of her- Voleta's hair behind her ear. "They 'smuggled' Voleta's soul out of Elysium-"

"SHE RECIEVED ELYSIUM AND YOU TOOK HER?!"

"Shut up, Perseus." Gaea sneered. "As I was about to say, I had to have someone from Elysium, because their soul would be immensely pure. Voleta was a demigod," She said with a digusted look on her face. "Daughter of Dionysus. The Greek one, of course. Her mother was terrified, however, and did not let Voleta know about her background. Fatal, and idiotic, I might add, mistake. A hellhound was drawn to her godly scent and burst into the house."

Hazel stirred with a whimper in Percy's arms.

"Shhh." He mumbled softly.

Gaea continued without notice of Hazel.

"Despite being spawn of that digusting god, she was brave. Voleta attempted to take down the hellhound so her mother could run. Foolish girl. Her mother did run away. Without her beloved daughter. Voleta died defending her mother, and her soul went to Elysium.

"Because she had died so heroicly, she was purified of any mortal sins- PERSEUS ARE YOU LISTENING?"

Percy blinked. "You lost me at 'godly scent'."
