"Here, she's coming to."
Hazel's vision swimmed. She could vaguely make out the figures of two people in front of her, one a brown skinned girl and a tall blond one.
"Piper? Annabeth?"
"Who the Tartarus are-"
"Oh, she means those lame prophecy kids. Don't worry, they're on Gaea's kill list." The girl said with a snotty smirk.
"Excellent." Said Hazel, and her vision became much clearer. She was vaguely aware of a pounding in her head and when she glanced down at her arm, it was covered in dark red liquid.
The boy caught her gaze. "Oh yeah, that. We found you in the vents. Weird." She seemed to be hiding something from Hazel but....oh well. "You lost a lot of blood. You're not getting healed though." Somehow, Hazel thought the girls were draceance.
"Punishment," The other girl added at Hazel's eyebrow raise. "For trying to leave."
"Insane, wasn't it?" Hazel giggled, the blood still running down her arm. "Escaping. I was insane in general, actually, before that glorious thing Gaea did to me...what was it again?"
"Nevermind that. Gaea wants to see you straight away."
"What for?"
"She's captured Percy Jackson."

The throne room was literally golden.
Hazel could sense it, her being a child of Pluto.
A throne stood in the front of the room, and a dark corner seemed to contain something in it.
"Hazel Levesque," She was greeted by a hot pole being pressed into her wrist. Her eyes widened and she gasped, but Gaea, looking the same as usual, pressed the pole harder. "Do not utter one word in my presence unless I order you to."
Pulling back, Hazel could see what was now imprinted into her skin. A Greek G had been imprinted. G for Gaea, maybe?
"Perseus Jackson!" Gaea yelled, turning to make sure he was coming.
No matter how much serum was in her veins, Hazel was still horrified at what she saw.
Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon, great defender of Olympus, praetor of New Rome, emerged from the dark corner. He was covered in grime. His hair was no longer silky looking- it had a strange brown look to it. His eyes had sunken, dull green. He was flanked by two ogre guards, and his feet and hands where shackled with short chains. Riptide was no where in sight. Neither was Annabeth. His usual friendly demenor reappeared, however, when he saw Hazel.
"Hazel!" It had obviously been meant to be yelled, but it was barely a cracky whisper. "You're-"
"A general in my army." Gaea interupted.
Percy's face fell at once.
"A general?"
"Yes," Gaea said, her black hair swinging as she turned to face the daughter of Pluto. "General. I've taken more interest in her since she got the serum."
"The serum?" Percy shouted in his quiet, cracky voice. "What the Hades is the serum? And where are my friends? How did Hazel get h-"
"Oh shut up, Perseus." Gaea, annoyed, flicked her wrist. A large rock appeared out of no-where and smashed into Percy's side.
He doubled over, falling, coughing into his hand. When he pulled it away, his hand was red.
"My lady," Hazel said, adressing Gaea as the serum kicked in more. "May I...speak to him?"
"Why not?" Gaea retreated to the front of the room, where the throne (made of what looked suspiciously like solid dirt and leaves) stood.
"Hazel," Percy rasped. "She said she'd get Annabeth out. She said she'd get all of them out of Tartarus, if I-"
"Shut up." She punched him in the stomach.
"Wha-"
"I said, shut up!" Hazel commanded.
Percy, his eyes full of hatred, closed his mouth.
"Now," Hazel's eyes scanned the room. A dagger, made of regular mortal metal, sat at the foot of Gaea's throne. Slowly, hoping Gaea wouldn't notice, she controlled the dagger, making it move ever so slightly towards her. "How'd you get here?"
"Your lady over there promised to get Bianca, Annabeth, Zoe and all of us out if I joined her army." Percy spit. "But guess what? Zoe and Silena died."
Hazel showed no emotion. "Why should I care? I didn't know Zoe Nightshade even excisted until two weeks ago, and I'm always compared to Bianca by Nico."
Percy narrowed his eyes. "What's the serum thing again?"
"None of your buisness." Echoed Gaea from her throne.
"So what, she just...raised you from Tartarus? How'd that work?"
"None of your buisness." Percy said in a mocking tone.
One swift punch in the gut and a kick in the shin later, he coughed more blood.
"I don't know!" He said, doubled over. "I don't know how. And I don't know where Annabeth and Bianca are. I blacked out. Why don't you just ask Gaea?"
Hazel scowled and slapped him across the face.
The knife was finally at her feet. Percy saw it and met her eyes.
"Hazel?" He whispered, probably thinking that she was going to help him
The fool.
Hazel bent down and picked up the knife, twirling it idly between her fingers.
"Let's have some fun, Perseus." She said, stabbing the blade into his arm.
If you didn't hate me before then this probably convinced you.
