8AM
Cross's View:
I woke up and got ready before the others. Taking a peek into Dream's room I saw he wasn't there. He was probably downstairs. I walked down and into the kitchen.

I froze.

There was glass...everywhere. I grabbed his phone and saw the many missed calls from Amelia. I called her again, she answered immediately.

"DREAM?! DREAM ARE YOU OKAY?!"

* Amelia it's me. What happened to Dream??

She explained it all to me and my heart broke right there and then.

"I'm going to look in the house, meet me there."

She hung up on me and I opened a portal, leaving a note for the others. The house was empty. Completely empty. The only thing present was the furniture. We couldn't give up.

Ink's View:
I woke up with Error by my side. Today 'felt' different. I got out of bed and as I was changing, Error woke up.

* Good morning Error.

He smiled.

* Looking amazing as usual.

* Oh Error!

I blushed.

I was patrolling in the doodle sphere when I saw a timeline in distress. It was...my old one. It seemed a soul was breaking, almost...aching. I went in.

I sensed it from our old base.

I went down the stairs and heard crying.

* I-I'm s-sorry...!

The sound of a whip made my ears cringe. It was definitely Dream's voice. I ran down to the cells and saw someone that looked like Nightmare...whipping Dream. Again and again.

* HEY! STOP!

It was locked. The strange gloopy person turned around and glared at me. I got my paintbrush out.

* Get out.

* Don't make me ask again.

Dream wheezed in exhaustion as the other stopped whipping. I spread Ink on the bars and they dissolved. I got out my phone and pressed a button before he grabbed me with a tentacle and smashed it.

* You will tell no one, am I clear?

* And what could you do if I did.

He began to strangle Dream with another tentacle.

Blue's View:
I received an alert from my phone, it was the emergency signal. Ink's emergency signal. I teleport to the timeline. Our timeline. I went down to the base, silently.

* Let him go.

* He's mine.

* You don't own him. He's not an object.

Just as Dream was about to stop breathing, I attacked, piercing a sharp bone through the tentacle stopping Dream from breathing. He gasped and coughed as Ink teleported Shattered away to fight him. I ran and held Dream. How much more could he take?

* I'm gonna take you home, okay..?

Dream just cried silently, breathing heavily and loudly.

* I c-cant..

* You're strong Dream, I know you can. 🙂

I teleported him home and Nightmare was ready. Cross came soon after, he had helped Ink get rid of Shattered's complete existence once and for all.

But Dream didn't want anybody to comfort him anymore. He looked so helpless.

We left him to rest.

Dream's View:
I wanted to die. I couldn't take this anymore. The only way to make sure none of this ever happened again was to die, right? I went to the window and opened it.

But this time, I didn't hesitate.

Nightmare's View:
I felt a sudden pain in my chest and Blue noticed.

* Are you okay Nightmare?

* Dream.

I rushed back to his room and opened the door. He wasn't there.

* Dream?!

The window was wide open. I ran to it and saw down...Dream.

* DREAM!

Five months later ~ 2PM
Blue's View:
We finished lunch and all chilled outside. Nightmare stayed overprotective of me. After all, his child was on the way. We cuddled as the others played in the pool. A few minutes went by and I check my phone. Dream's vitals had gone up.

* Guys! Dream's waking up!

Their faces lighted up. We went upstairs and smiled as we saw Dream open his eyes. I immediately removed his breathing tube.

* Welcome back Dream. 🙂

He was too weak to sit up but that was expected at month 5. Over the next few weeks we all helped Dream physiotherapy and before you knew it, he was back to being himself. The scars were always there but we all had some sort of scar...mentally, physically, emotionally.

2 months later ~ 1PM
Dream's View:
"* Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday to Dream and Nightmare
Happy birthday to you!"

The others cheered as we cut the cake. I hugged Nightmare tightly. I hadn't had such a birthday with him in so many years. I still wasn't able to talk fully yet, my vocal cords were badly damaged, but the tremendous amount of positivity had shown everyone how joyful I really was.

Everybody was eating cake when I glanced over at Blue, he wasn't eating any of it. I nudged him and pointed at the cake slice.

* Oh no...it might hurt the baby...

I frowned. A piece of cake wouldn't hurt the baby. It was more than just the baby, I could tell. I wrote down my reply on some paper.

There's another reason why you're not eating it, isn't there..

Blue read it and looked at me.

* More food means I get slower when fighting...I need to protect my child..

I hugged Blue and he hugged me back. It was my fault he felt this way. I expected too much from him...in such little time. That guilt will never abandon me.

May I...feel the baby?

Blue smiled and nodded. I laid my hands only his shirt and sparked positivity. And there, a kick! Blue flinched and giggled. The others noticed.

* The baby...is it-

Blue giggled again as another kick came about. Everybody crowded around to see it. I did it once more before my energy had drained for the day. The baby kicked once more and everybody's positivity shot through the roof. I wrote a note to show everybody I was going to have a rest. Cross kissed me on the check and I went to bed.
