Chapter 34 - Bruises

One Month Later, 9AM
Blue's View:
* Have a nice day at school Luna!

* Thank you!

Nightmare drove her to School as I cleaned the house. I was hoping to visit Dream, I hadn't heard from him in a month. An hour passed and I had cleaned the entire house. Ink teleported in.

* Good morning, Blue! Are you ready to visit, Ink?

* Yes, let's go. :)

I opened a portal and we made sure Shattered wasn't in the room before going inside. Dream was sitting up in bed, a file in front of him.

* Hi Dream!

He jumped at Ink's voice and turned around, away from us.

* W-What are you guys doing here?!

* We've got some thing to help with the pregnancy! And your favourite craving snacks.

Dream didn't turn his face...he looked like he was shaking.

Ink went up to him and tapped his shoulder.

* ...Are you okay, Dream? Turn around, we won't laugh...pregnancy face is normal-

Dream turned his head, tears pouring down his face. The bruises on his arms and face were no joke. I couldn't believe this...

Ink was frozen where he was and I walked out, closing the door and locking it with magic. I went down the stairs to see the twins and Shattered. I opened a portal back home.

* Bloom, Hope, you can have a play date with Luna. ^^

They thanked me and ran through. I closed the portal and blue-souled Shattered; I didn't hesitate to break the garden doors and I blasted him outside. Before he could even get up, I used magic to smash a tree right onto him.

* You DARE put your hands on him!!

I bellowed, blasting at him again. I left him too slowly get up and went back to Dream and Ink. Dream was apologising frantically as Ink was telling him he didn't need to be.

* I...I should've just listened to him, I-I'm so sorry...!

I looked at the file he was looking at before and took it off him. I opened it to see tablets I knew well. The same abortion pills I had taken all those years ago...

Dream tried to grab them off me but I took a step back. He was too weak to get out of bed. I went to the back and saw a powder in a plastic pouch. I used magic to see what it was. I looked at Dream...

* ...You tried to kill your self.....

Dream burst into tears again, Ink pulling him in for a hug. All the memories began to flow in again. The world was so cruel, too cruel.

* I'm s-sorry! P-Please don't t-tell Nightmare...

* ..Why not?

Dream went silent, I couldn't force an answer out of him right now.

* Things have gone too far Dream, way too far.

I sent a text message to Amelia.

Before Dream could question my action, everything changed within a blink of an eye. We were back at Nightmare's castle.

Their memories of Shattered has been wiped, as well as his existence in this very timeline. Bloom and Hope ran and hugged Dream.

* Mum look look!

Dream smiled and complimented their lovely paintings.

* I'll go make lunch before the team get back.

* I'll help!

* No Ink, you'll rest, just like Dream.

* ...Fine.

Ellie always told Amelia not to use chaos magic but she promised she'd do this if worst came to worst. She was willing to suffer magic poisoning for a few days for us...

I went to make lunch and put it into the buffet area. The gang came home and Nightmare kissed me on the cheek before sitting down to eat. Dream and Ink ate at the speed of light before going to get seconds, and even thirds. I quickly finished before everyone else and went to my room and called Amelia.

* Amelia? Are you okay?

"Y-Yeah...just a little shaky but it's nothing I can't handle."

* I really can't thank you enough for doing this but if you need anything, don't hesitate to come over. :)

"Of course, thank you...see you soon."

She hung up the phone; I wasn't fully convinced that she was as 'fine' as she was claiming to be...
