Chapter 57 - Constants

The Next Day...

8am

Killer's View:
I woke up by Outer's side and looked at him, still asleep. Sci told me he needed to stay in bed for a while as the medicine has many side effects, especially when using too much energy. It was a bad idea to tell him about his brother...it wasn't the right time. We couldn't work him up, stress him out, or let him use too much energy. I should've kept my mouth shut...

There was a knock on the door and Amelia came inside. She was carrying little Navy in her hands.

"Morning Killer, how are ya?"

* Exhausted...

"Understandable, how's he doing?"

* Better than a few days ago, but his memory is still off...and he's really angry with the team.

"Also understandable...I mean they murdered his brother right?"

I nodded and look back at Outer.

"Y'know Ellie and I care about this family so much, and we want you all to be happy.." she used magic to keep Navy floating as she came and sat on the opposite side of Outer's bed.

"I can bring his memory back."

I looked up at her.

"But I want to see how much you guys love each other." She casted a spell upon the both of us.

* What'd you just do?

"The moment you both kiss, and you both mean it, the moment he gets his memory back."

She went to pick up Navy again.

I felt determined.

* Doable.

"I know you can do it, just prove it to everyone else." Amelia clicked her fingers and a bottle appeared in her hand.

She left the room humming joyfully.

* Okay Outer, it's you and me. I love you with my all, and I'll do everything to prove that to you.

* good to hear...

Outer opened his eyes and blushed.

Crap-

* I- Good morning! How are you feeling..?

* Better than yesterday...I caused such a scene...

* You had every right to.

* I guess...

He looked at my arm before cringing a bit.

* How's your arm..? I'm so sorry about that..

* Ah it's fine, Don't worry yourself, okay?

He nodded and we spent the entire morning with each other, talking and laughing.

Dream's View:
* CROSS, COME QUICK!!!!!!!!

Cross threw himself into the room.

* What?! What's happened, are you okay?!

* LUX IS TAKING HIS FIRST STEPS!

I had my phone recording it all and I was exploding with words of encouragement to Lux.

* :O

* Come in Luxyboo, you can do it! Come to mama! 🥰😊

Lux hesitantly let go of the table and started walking towards me. Cross was cheering as I recorded and once Lux got to me we surrounded her and gave her kisses and hugs.

We were so proud!
10am

Ink's View:
• Inky, I told you to wake up.

* And I said I wasn't feeling well...

Insane sat down besides me and tried to kiss my forehead but I rolled over to get away. I missed the others so much...

We were only halfway through.

• Staying in bed makes me think you wanna have sex~

* No, I don't. I said I didn't feel well. Please leave me alone...

He rolled his eyes and left the room. I closed by eyes to sleep some more.

12pm

I woke up to the sound of a door slam and sat up. Insane came in, looking pissed.

* What's wrong?

• Your stupid friends and family, that's what's wrong.

He pulled me into a forced kiss.

* I-If you're angry, then-

• Shut up Ink, before I give you a reason to cry.

I pushed him back and he took a moment to process it. Before he could get up, I quickly went to the bathroom and locked myself in.

• You better open that fucking door Ink.

* While you're this angry? I don't think so.

I turned the taps on, filling the bath with warm-hot water.

• You still don't know your place in this house...

* I don't have a place here, and I never will Insane. You need to accept that.

• Open the door Ink.

The water finished filling up the bathtub and I turned it off.

* After a lay down in the bath, I don't feel well.

I took my clothes off and laid down in the bath. Closing my eyes, I formed my ecto so I'd feel much warmer.

Insane's View:
• Ink, I'm not fucking playing with you, open the door.

He ignored your words.

He's plotting something against you.
Ink needs to know the rules.
So bad...

I banged on the door.

• So done with your attitude.

* Insane I'm not feeling well today so let me rest then we can do something later...

• In this house, you don't do what you want to do.

I went downstairs and grabbed the keys to unlock the bathroom. I slowly opened the door and Ink looked at me, confused.

* You could've waited...

I walked up to the bathtub, ready to make him regret his words.

My phone began to ring.

Cross's View:
* You think he'd rather have the guest room next to our room?

I nodded, keeping my eyes peeled on my text messages. A very special guest was coming over and I was overjoyed to see him again. Dream was excited too, so much so that he'd redecorated the old guest room next to our just for them. It had been so long since we'd seen them and they'd been staying at a low profile for a while.

But it turned out, they had their reasons.

* Any messages yet? The twins and Lux are in the car waiting.

* No not yet..let's just go wait in the car.

* Sure thing my love. :)
