Opposite Blue

Chapter 20 - Birth

One week later, Friday ~ 5AM
Blue's View:
I woke up in excruciating pain. I was in a puddle of liquid.

This couldn't be happening.

The panic began to rise through me. If Lust found out, he'd make sure the baby was his.

9AM
Ellie's View:
I knocked on Lust's door, holding the cupcakes I had promised him. He opened up and let me in.

"I took the whole of yesterday to bake these just for you!"

I sat down on the sofa. Lust and I had become good friends over the years, but he didn't know who I was.

My family.
My intentions.

* You're the best!

We dug into them; a few minutes passed.

"Hey, Lust?"

* Mhm?

"Go to hell."

I blasted him so not only had the cupcakes put him to sleep, but he wouldn't wake up anytime soon. Blue was here, I could feel it.

I predicted it.

Amelia had told me about his disappearance weeks ago, it was the same day Lust was less depressed about everything. He talked about wanting to start a family, wanting a distraction. I looked in every room, but there was nothing. There had to be a secret room or something.

There.

I pressed the button under his bed and a staircase appeared. I rushed down and heard cries of pain. The door was locked. I used a spell to unlock it and there was Blue.

"Blue, I'm here, I'm here."

He didn't know who I was but I knew who he was. I helped him to his feet and he gripped my hands very tightly.

"Nobody will ever hurt you again as long as I'm alive."

I teleported us to Nightmare's castle and laid him on his bed.

"NIGHTMARE! DREAM!" I yelled as I got Blue into a position to deliver.

This was my first time doing this...

Nightmare and Dream opened the door and their eyes widened.

"There's no time to be shocked. Dream I need you to use light magic on his stomach."

Dream snapped back in and nodded, starting the strong magic. Nightmare hugged Blue tightly and Blue started to cry. Amelia finally teleported in.

"Took you long enough sis."

"Sorry, I had to deal with something!"

Amelia used magic to support Blue.

"Blue we're here now, you're gonna deliver this baby, ok..?"

He shook his head in pain and anxiety. Nightmare took his hand and squeezed it tightly.

* Do this for the baby..

Nightmare was crying but sucking it up to stay strong for Blue. Blue only nodded and he closed his eyes and faced forwards.

"Ok Blue start pushing, ok?" I said gently.

He nodded and began to push.

4PM
A loud cry was heard as Blue passed out.

"Great job Blue. It's a girl :)" I held the baby as Amelia used magic to clean everything up.

5PM
Blue's View:
I woke up to chatting and beeping all around me.

* We never thought of a name...

* The spell should be lifting off now, you can decide with him if he doesn't fall back to sleep. :)

I opened my eyes very slightly and saw Nightmare, Dream, and another girl that looked just like Amelia...

* T-Too bright...

The girl clicked her fingers and the lights dimmed.

"Happy to have you back Blue 🙂" she said, checking my vitals and drips.

* I'm so happy you're okay...I'm so sorry..

Nightmare gave me a hug and I hugged him back. Dream left the room and came back with a little baby.

* A little baby girl.

He handed her to me. She was sleeping peacefully and I could feel the positivity radiating from her. I couldn't help but shed a tear.

* Luna...let's call her Luna. 😊

I said. Nightmare's smiled back at me, he approved the name.

"She's healthy and weighs well. But Blue, you need a lot of rest and I'm guessing you wanna spend time with Nightmare."

I nodded, refusing to take my eyes off Luna.

* Can I have I work with you outside, Ellie?

"Sure."

Ellie's View:
I stepped out of the room with Nightmare and he seemed disheartened.

* He can't be taken again.

"He won't, trust me."

* How do you know that?

"Just...trust me."

I cast a spell to show the future. We were in a child's room and Luna could be seen walking for the first time, Nightmare and Blue cheering her on.

There were going to be so happy.

"Amelia is scared to see different times but I don't mind. I had to save him at the perfect time otherwise everything would go wrong."

* How-

"We don't tell people our abilities, it keeps us...mysterious one might say."

And I was right.
