Chapter 52 - False

Outer's View:
Before Horror could get in contact with Dream, I quickly used magic to create a star shaped bubble around Dream.

* Horror, get Nightmare.

* What the hell are you doing to Dr-

* I don't have time to explain, just get Nightmare and tell him to go into Dream's mind!!

I quickly looked into Dream's eyes again as Horror left the room and I saw what I was working with.

* YOU COULD'VE SAVED ME!

* I d-didn't know, I'm so sorry!

I tapped Dream and he opened his eyes to see me. Opposite us stood a girl skeleton, she looked upset more than mad.

* I don't know who you are...but I'm really sorry about the situation I've put you and Dream in! He nor I mean any harm! We need to go, it's unsafe for us to be here..!

I ignored the pain in my head and began trying to make a portal. Dream let go of me and started walking towards the girl.

* Dream?! Dream what are you doing!

* Outer we need to take her with us. She's my late niece!

* Dream we can't override reality, we need to go NOW. If we don't, our existences will start to fade, Dream!

* It's fine just let me go, I don't matter anyways...

* Luna you can come with us, your parents miss you, don't you want to meet your baby brother??

* DREAM, LET'S GO!

A portal opened in front of me with the help of Nightmare's magic. Once we stepped through it Dream would be passed out, I'd be badly injured and Nightmare...he would be furious...

I used my last bit of magic to teleport Dream to me and I grabbed him and stepped through right before the portal closed. Dream fell into Nightmare's arms as Luna's voice was heard one last time, apologising to Dream. We were back in reality.

Cross was in the room.
Blue was in the room.
Nightmare, Dust, Horror.
Ink and Error...that can't be right...

Dream...

Dream was asleep in Nightmare's arms and I was stood up, looking at them all. They didn't look angry...but more concerned and I could feel the darkness creeping around the room, crawling towards me.

Silence.

I looked down and saw blood dripping from my skull...and my arms...and my chest...

Why did I do this.

I looked back up and at the others, feeling numb.

Only my brother and I knew what to do in this situation.

* Outer..?

I tried to follow the voice but I couldn't..

* Outer are you okay? Outer?

* He looked like he's about to pass out.

* As if I care, look at what he's done.

I felt frozen...cold even...
No pain...

Five Days Later..

9am

Dream's View:
I was in Outer's room reading a magazine when there was a knock on the door. Killer must've arrived back!

* Come in!

Killer burst through the door.

* Outer didn't answer any of my calls or messages, is he- what happened?!

Killer quickly rushed over to Outer's side.

* I'm fine Killer...

* He used his magic, and it didn't go well. But it's not his fault, it's mine...I told him to try it on me without thinking about the risks...

Killer looked at the bandages on Outer's head, chest and arm.

* Outer, you're not okay! You knew what the magic would do to you!

* Killer please don't hate me, I'm really sorry...!

* I would never hate you Outer, I just don't want you getting hurt...

Killer have Outer a hug.

* Everybody else refuses to talk to him...after what happened they think he was sabotaging or something...they don't believe our side of the story.

* Why not your side?

* They think I'm under his magic.

Killer stormed out of the room.

* Killer!

Killer's View:
How could they be such JERKS?! I went to the meeting room and interrupted the discussion.

* Why do you guys hate Outer so fucking much?! I'M SICK OF IT.

* Killer now isn't the time for this.

* YES IT IS. IF YOU JUST HAVE HIM A CHANCE TO FEEL LIKE HE ISN'T HATED BY YOU ALL, THEN MAYBE HE'D LIGHTEN UP!

They were silent. I slammed the door behind me and walked to my room.

I stayed in there for the rest of the day, refusing to speak to anyone.

The Next Day...

6am

Outer's View:
Dream helped me pack my last bag.

* I'll come and visit as much as I can, okay?

I smiled and nodded, packing the last bit of snacks. After what happened a few days ago, it was clear there was no chance with them anymore..only Killer and Dream were the only ones who seemed to show hope for me. But that wasn't enough to persuade the others. Dream opened the portal into Outer!Tale and I hugged him goodbye. As my timeline was a rare one, it wasn't easy to enter it, but Killer seemed to have his ways.

Nobody else did though.

So you were alone again.

Yeah, again.

I laid in my fluffy bed, using magic to get my clothes back into their drawers neatly and quickly. The moonlight glowed through the windows and into my room. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

Insane's View:
Ink hasn't warmed up to me yet. I had to get on his good side, but he had his vials stuck to him 24/7.

You had no control.

But maybe, just maybe, my little idea would work~!

From watching his family time and time again, I found out a recent member had...left them. And from talking to Ink, he was grateful for Outer's decision as it saved not only himself, but Blue.

But nobody else agreed.

Ink was still asleep so I took the opportunity to open a portal into Outer!Tale. It was so silent you could hear a pin drop.

They want their lives back.

I went to Outer's house and carefully picked him up before going back through my portal. Then I placed him gently on the sofa.

I sat down and waited for him to wake up.
