As I sit down next to the case I hear Akali ask, "Where is the other thingy?"

I turn to her with a furrowed brow, "What other thingy? Do you mean the pick? Inside obviously because then I can't lose it."

"No the amp, dummy."

I glance back. Starting at the case for a moment longer as I wonder to myself where is the amp. The answer to that question is that I am indeed an idiot and have forgotten to take it with me.

"You forgot didn't you?"

I glance at her with a straight face, seeing her watching me with an amused face, "Yes."

She rubs her brow, as she laughs to herself, "You are actually unbelievable," she then crosses her legs tucking it under her on the seat, "So let's just get down to the planning of it, considering I can't get you to do anything else just yet."

With an annoyed stare, "Yeah... I don't know how I can overlook that detail," then with a sigh, "Welp. The leading question being, what do you want to do with this?"

"Get people together that want to start making art," she says, "To find everyone capable of doing that and then help them realize their interest and talent while we work on making ours better."

Twisting my lips to the side, "A pretty easy thing to follow - the school will probably let us do it as long as we don't ask for money and fund it ourselves... dunno how we can do that."

"We'll find a way."

I nod, "I am sure we will," then asking, "Got any ideas of people who would be interested?"

She shakes her head, "If I knew I'd ask them a long time ago - nobody is really open or upfront about it so I have no idea if there is anyone that would genuinely care about it..."

I nod lowering my gaze as I then state, "We can always just go around asking people but let's just focus on getting the teachers on our side, and then we can move onto that part," I then lift myself.

"Where are you going?"

"Dusting off the Acoustic over there and putting in new strings," I grab it, wiping some of the dust off as I walk it back to my seat, not a few moments later there are two heads peeking through the door.

"Akali, there you are."

"Hey Eric and Conner," she smiles at them, "What's up?"

I don't pay any attention to them as I focus my attention on the strings all the while listening to them in the background.

Conner speaks first, "Thought you two would be here. Eric was just hoping to see it for himself so I pulled him along on my way here."

"Don't you two have things to do? Like you said you did?" I glance up to see her arch her eyebrow.

I drop my gaze as Eric chuckles, "Nah. Well we did but they all rescheduled to 2 hours from now - the coach said it would be better to go at normal times rather than immediately after classes so I am going to hang around till then."

Conner states, "And I was going to come here anyway."

"You sure?"

"Yeah - not like we have anything to do for the week."

"Hey, (Y/N)."

"Sup."

"So you are the brave volunteer helping out Akali with getting this up and running," I kind of don't want to be friendly with him after being an absolute dick yesterday because he stopped his toe on the way to school.

"Trying is the word," I then strum each cord and tune it till I am satisfied.

The interest in that conversation died as the two of them are sitting down near her in their own little conversations. I on the other hand just want to get talking about a few things but I guess we can't do much till we present anything to the teachers.

I would like to use my Guitar for a change... it's been a while but I forgot the amp like a dumbass so I am going to have to make do with the Acoustic. These things are massive and the tightness of the strings is also a lot more.

I mean... it is Acoustic so that makes sense.

Finally satisfied with it, I strum a few notes only to feel like my hands are freezing cold. It feels weird but that comes with not touching it in such a long time. I try again feeling the feel for it again only for my fingers to misstep, messing the solo up completely.

I stop for a moment tapping my fingers against the side as Akali asks, "That sounded good... is something wrong?"

I nod, "I'm terribly out of practice. Fingers aren't working with me," I then clear my throat, "That was actually pretty terrible."

"I mean it sounded like it was something."

I chuckle, "I am just copying a two-minute solo is all," I then twist my lips to the side, "The strings are tighter and feel heavier. I am really not used to that either."

Conner then smiles, "I mean we are here for the next two hours so feel free to give it a few shots because I have no idea what you are doing."

I lift my shoulders, "Worth a few tries."

***   Kai'Sa POV   ***

Returning back to the classroom where I left my bag. I went to talk to some of the guys in the dance group just to see how it is there and I mean... I knew I was going to join but they are all super friendly about having me on the team.

Grabbing my bag I start heading home, I told Dad I'd be walking home mainly because I know he is busy and I don't want to bother him just to pick me up. Just as I was about to leave I see both Evelynn and Ahri come inside.

"Hey you two," I greet them as they both smiled back at me, though Ahri's is much more lively.

"Hey... Kai'Sa?" I nod with a smile, "Why are you still at school?"

"Just to talk to the coach of the dancing team and see if I'd fit in. I am just about to head home-"

Evelynn then asks, "If you are not too busy or desperate to get home, you can always tag along with the two of us. We wouldn't mind having a little bit more company."

Ahri nods, "We could drop you off afterward as well."

"With who's car?" she looks at Ahri.

"You can drive already can't you?" she rolls her eyes at her, "Besides Jack doesn't mind if you drive around considering you are already nineteen as long as you don't steal it for longer than a few hours."

"Sure I can tag along," I nod as I step towards them, "Though I don't want to intrude-"

She shakes her head, "Just a few friends meeting up - besides you know one of them. Vic is in the dancing team."

I nod quickly, "I did," then asking, "I just want to swing by the music classroom."

"Why?" Ahri's ears perk up.

"Akali and (Y/N) are in there planning to start the music club again."

Ahri then remarks, "They are going to need a coach - the school isn't going to let it happen unless there is someone qualified to help out and I doubt any of them know someone willing to help."

"Oh... do you know anyone that might help them?" it would suck if it didn't work out seeing as they are both kinds of depending on it.

Evelynn nods, "I know someone that might be interested. Though I'll just have to go and ask them about it when we swing by."
