I left them to handle the little bits of planning and moving forward. As far as I am aware we are allowed to start it back up and should start to get some people to take part in it the moment we can.

I am not aware of what else needs to happen but I want to make sure my sister isn't confused the moment she gets here. She was brimming with excitement the moment I dropped the news. Guess I am just... I shake my head as I interrupt the thought.

Seeing her get excited about something like this is enough for me.

There aren't a lot of people at school - considering that most everything is left to Friday and it will just go into full swing. I glance to the side as I see someone walk with her hand dug into the pockets of her hoodie.

She lifts her hand waving at me, "Hey, (Y/N)."

I chuckle, "You could have at the very least dressed a little bit..." I gesture to her exercising clothes, "Presentable."

She lifts her shoulders, "I can't fight in slacks and a blazer," rolling her eyes, then leaning against the wall next to me, "I have a feeling they might just end up wanting me to prove myself and I am itching to do exactly that."

I then arch my brow, "You really wanted this."

She nods, "All in the passion for MMA. Bringing something to it that's new," she chuckles, "Or at the very least they can improve my technique and continue to master it as best I can..." she then shuts her eyes.

"You always come out on top," I state, "Even when nobody believed in you."

She then smiles, resting her arm on my shoulder, "Yeah but I don't have to prove anyone wrong anymore - already did that back when I told myself that I can only do it if I put my mind to it - your turn."

I chuckle, "To do what exactly? I doubt I'd last in the ring."

She shakes her head, "Not the ring, idiot. There comes a point and time where it will hit you like a truck. Suddenly everything else is running past you and it feels like you are the only one walking and when it catches up it feels like you wasted your time. You haven't even decided what you want to do after school, have you?"

I shake my head, "It's... something I still need to consider."

"World doesn't wait for you so get your head on straight. Even if I am not the one that will get you to do someone," I glance at her again as she flashes a wide smile, "I'll just be happy that someone is the reason you drove yourself forward."

I chuckle, "Just a quick lecture."

"Someone has to do it," she then groans, "As much as I hated hearing it, as much as I still don't want to hear it right now I believe that it helps in its own little way."

"Maybe."

"Maybe? Really?" she snorts as she takes a deep breath, "I thought the person technically taking care of me would be a little bit mature."

I then state, "And about the money?"

"Details details," she laughs, "You'd make a good house husband so alternatively find yourself a rich girl."

"Sounds almost tempting," I joke.

"I am going to have to be dead before I let you do that," she counters just as quickly.

"Alright alright - also don't joke about that before something actually happens."

"At least then you will have my permission," she shoots me a wink as I only shake my head.

Amidst our conversation, we are interrupted by a duo. Akali and her bestest best friend Conner. God, why did he have to be here? I couldn't hide my annoyed stare as my sister notices my expression. I try to shift it as I ask, "Did you guys get everything done?"

She nods, "We did," then turning to my sister, "(Y/N)'s sister right? My name is Akali."

Conner instantly smiles, "Conner."

"Angel," she returns a quick greeting to him before turning to Akali, "Thanks for letting me get a go at talking to your people, just tell me if there is anything I most definitely shouldn't do."

"Interrupting them," I suggest.

"That is a good point," she nods.

Akali shoots me a furrowed brow, "Uhmm..."

She quickly adds, "He is joking, I am not that terrible."

Akali then gestures with her head, "It's fine. I was just a little bit worried - we have a time frame so we shouldn't waste much time," we start to walk, with the two of them leading.

Angel sides next to me, asking in a whisper, "We don't like him?"

"He is a dick, to say the least."

"Ahhh. Got it."

"Not even going to ask if I am being petty?"

"Don't care. Don't like him."

Suppressing my snort, I only shake my head at her logic which I will not complain about.

Akali then asks, "You two look like you have an incredibly good relationship."

Angel pulls me close with her arm around my neck, "I couldn't ask for a better brother, to take care of me. I am terribly hopeless at cooking so I have to keep the mood up otherwise he might just give me food poisoning."

"(Y/N)?"

"She talks through her ass quite often," I don't bother fighting against her gorilla strength.

Akali only chuckles as she asks again, "MMA right? I don't really pay attention to the scene but I heard you are quite successful."

"I am 6 to 2. Lost my first two ever fights and have been going strong. I don't really consider fights outside of UFC in my personal record. I am pretty new so my name isn't all that important to other people and I am pretty young considering."

"How old?"

"Twenty-six. My old coach told me to wait a bit because I wouldn't adapt and I did get my ass kicked," she chuckles.

I do remember. She went in with high hopes and expectations only to get knocked out in the third and final round. The second loss was from the decision, she didn't land many punches trying to play it safer than in her last fight.

It was dreadful. Like seeing someone's soul leave their body. In a state where she wasn't like she was now - not happy. Just in a depressed mood wondering whether or not she was ever going to consider going back.

I am just happy she found her way through it.

Conner then remarks, "That young? I am very impressed, I heard that most people just join UFC in their early thirties. Must have been hell stepping into it."

"I have had it worse," she states.

I give her a look of confusion. The mix of training and fighting is enough to make anyone tap out mentally. Whatever worse it... I hope I don't get to experience it ever.

We finally reach the temple.

"I'll see you two Monday," he then starts walking away.

"See ya," I greet him.

"Bye, Conner."

My sister doesn't greet him. We step up to the front gates as it opens with two men standing in the entrance and they seem to like green quite a bit. It looks almost faded with some silver lining at the edges of their clothing.

But you can see the muscle on them. Not what I'd expect from people living in a temple, I'd have guessed ninja but they are pretty far from it... appearance-wise.

One of them states, "You can come on through, Shen is expecting all three of you."

Akali nods, "We know," then stepping past," the two of us greet them with a simple nod that they don't return.

Must hate outsiders.
