I am early and I woke up the other two in the process - Akali was the hardest to get out of my bed and Kai'Sa pretty much instantly woke up the moment I got out to get ready for the day. I am just making breakfast early morning for them.

Don't really know when those two are going to show up but I am making a pretty big breakfast for everyone.

"Good morning," I hear Tanya walk up from behind, "Need help with anything here?"

"Morning," I shake my head, "No pretty much done with everything as is - could always help set the table."

"Sure," she heads to the cupboards to get the plates ready for me.

"Enjoy your night out?"

"Hm mhm," she then adds, "Had fun as per usual for going out - you said you were going to have a couple of people coming over right?"

"Two more, yeah."

With a chuckle, "Safe to assume they are pretty famous and you knew them from school?"

I look at her, "You are making it sound like it is pretty obvious - but yeah, also knew the two of them from back then," I finish up the last few bits and start putting food on plates, "The five of us were pretty close back then."

"Close close?"

I nod, "Yeah."

She giggles, "Almost too scared to ask you know that?" I stop as she sighs, "Yeah - kinda did have a little crush on you I guess but-"

"Tanya-"

She looks me in the eyes, "Don't think you are going to tell me what I can't see with my own two eyes - so don't stress it. Was being a bitch about it a couple of days ago and I didn't really see past being just jealous."

Shaking my head, "Don't need to explain yourself."

"I mean - was being a bitch. You would have stopped me sooner or later because I was being pretty blatant," then with a loud sigh, "So annoying - well. Don't really know why both of them and I am honestly not even going to ask if the relationship is like this between all five of you."

She adds, "Not going to tell a soul either - not that much of a bitch."

"Sorry," I breathe out, "Shoulda made it more clear that I do have feelings for other people."

"I mean we are friendly colleagues, dating my boss would kinda be weird now that I think about it," she snorts, "So let's just ignore this and move on - still am kinda living here and don't want to make it an awkward stay before I move out."

I then take the plates right after I store the rest of the food in a pan in the oven - walking it to the dinner table she follows me with the rest as I see Akali lazily make her way to the table. She really starts her mornings pretty slowly.

"Morning..." she yawns.

"Morning," Tanya then sets the two plates down while holding a slight smile, "Sleep well?"

Akali instantly freezes in place with a confused stare, she isn't making any effort to make it less obvious, "I... did?"

"That's good," she then sets down behind her plate as I shake my head at Akali who is looking at me for answers to this situation.

We enjoy our breakfast while anticipating them to arrive within the hour or so - I did send her a message and she instantly responded that she is waiting on Evelynn before they make their way to my place.

"Did you talk to her?" I see Akali side next to me, "She is kinda being a bit too friendly towards me for someone that kinda just looks like she hates my guts."

I shake my head, "Think she was just like that 'cause she saw you were competing."

"Till she realised that she wasn't going to win, you mean."

I kiss the side of her head, "Tanya is a nice woman - I know you two fell out but maybe you two can be friends later? I dunno, love makes people do stupid things."

She counters, "But if you let it do that to you, then you deserve everything coming to you - the same thing happened to Conner."

I nod, "I know."

She sighs, "Alright alright - I am not going to be depressed about it, just was very confused that she-" stopping herself, "I am going to get dressed."

The rest of us hover around doing small things while we wait - and in the next moment I hear the intercom light up and I press it hoping I didn't just let people in that just wanted to come in here because they saw Kai'Sa here.

Opening the door I see a car that I can only associate with one person - then watching it with a slight smile I watch them park close to the front of the entrance. A pair of ears meet me first before I saw a ridiculously large grin and a very happy fox girl tip tap closer.

"Long time," she tucks her arms under mine.

"Been talking a lot, just haven't seen each other."

"Yeah I know," she breathes out with a whisper, "Careful - Eve has been super worried on the way here not knowing how we are going to ever continue from this," then shooting me a wink, "Spoil her for me."

I then gesture, "Everyone is here already - don't freak out to much."

Her face lights up even more, "Kai'Sa? Already?" she then walks past me to go and greet them.

Then with a cold and serious expression Evelynn walks past me wearing her signature glasses and hand jewellery, watching me intensely before finally stopping in front of me she begins, "Thanks for having us over."

"Just that?" I chuckle holding my smirk.

"Did she say something?"

"Come on, Eve. Not a business colleague."

The muscles in her jaw tightens, "You are behind on alamoney."

"Huh, didn't know we had kids.'

"They hate you," she whispers to me.

"Only because they haven't met me."

"That's... you know that is kind of how it usually happens."

"I can spoil them with expensive shit, then blip off of the radar."

"Already doing that," she tilts her head, "Not offense, but I am pretty successful.'

"Probably more than me."

"I really didn't want to say it out loud."

"Did it for you."

She then nods, "Missed you real bad."

I roll my eyes stepping forward to hug her, "You really just don't know how to make the first move do you?"

With a chuckle, "Don't know - haven't made the time to see you and I kind of feel guilty-"

"Don't be," I stop her, "Not like I don't understand how it feels to be busy."

She rests into my, hugging me fully before saying in a whisper, "I know - not going to make me feel less guilty or upset about the time lost, but we were waiting for Akali to come back right, heard you found her."

"Hm mhm, she's waiting inside."

"You always find them," she adds, "Thanks for finding her, I never doubted that you'd get to her before anyone else could. So... take this serious please, I want to have a better life for the rest of us."

"Really going to do my best to make this work."

She nods, "Us? We will always work, but, this plan of yours and Ahri? I want that to work just as much."

"I put my all into it every step of the way - you know that."

Pulling away she steals a kiss, "I know~" then with a chuckle, "Come on, let's meet the girls."
