"It's the way I'm feeling I just can't deny but I've gotta let it go. We found love in a hopeless place, we found love in a hopeless place, we found love in a hopeless place."

"We Found Love" from Just Me by Lauren Jauregui

Lauren's gaze got lost in the immensity of the landscape. Her vacation house was found in the outskirts of British Columbia, near Whistler Station. It was an ideal place to bask in the view of the mountains that surrounded them, in that time of the year covered by snow. Ryan and her enjoyed of the peace and the perfection that place transmitted. It was one of those places where you could simply stay and admire the view, enjoy the solitude and the tranquility that it gave you to just get lost in the greatness of the mountains and forget for a moment who you were and what your life was.

Lauren sighed as she hugged herself, feeling the freezing cold breeze on her body. Her eyes went down onto the enormous garden of the house, which was now just white scenery, when she watched a figure walk through the snow. They had a red winter hat atop their black hair and a large coat of the same color, Camila Cabello.

Her eyes followed her and watched her stop and open her arms out to nothing. An involuntary smile spread on Lauren's face as she watched. Even though she wasn't directly facing her, she knew she was happy.

They had arrived three hours earlier, and the sun would soon enough go down to welcome the night. Lauren hadn't tried to speak with Camila since she told her she liked her album. Her gaze followed her for a moment as she walked further cross the snow, and for a moment, she felt sad for her. Judging by the little she had learned about her husband, he was an idiot who looked down on her. And she happily let herself be stomp on. Lauren hated the type of women who submitted to a man's will or anyone else.

In that moment, a hot chocolate cup with marshmallows appeared in front of her and she smiled as she felt Ryan's sweet caress on her back.

"What are you up to, darling?" Ryan asked, standing by her side as Lauren took the cup.

"Relaxing a bit," she whispered. "Thanks for this, honey," Lauren said, referring to the hot chocolate, and Ryan smiled back at her.

"Don't worry, beautiful." Ryan gave her a kiss on the cheek and his eyes focused on the figure that still walked through the snow and observed a squirrel. Ryan sneaked his arm around Lauren's waist, getting her close to him. Lauren sighed, placing her head on his shoulder sweetly. "He doesn't deserve her."

"What did you say?" Lauren murmured, knowing full well what Ryan meant.

"Jason doesn't deserve a woman like her," Ryan said. "I don't want to disrespect you because you're my wife and it's not right that I speak about another woman's virtues in front of you," he smiled and winked at her. "I really mean it when I say that letters is a very beautiful and good woman that Jason doesn't value."

"She doesn't respect herself with him," Lauren said. "She's as guilty as that imbecile."

"It's not all as it seems, darling," Ryan said sweetly. "We don't know what things happen in their marriage, maybe they've fought or something."

"No one deserves to be treated like that," Lauren said. "If he doesn't love her or they've had problems they should solve them like civilized people, treating each other with respect."

"Not everyone is as lucky to have a marriage as perfect as ours," Ryan said, kissing Lauren's head.

Lauren sighed as her eyes focused once more on that woman with the most fascinating eyes, filled with sadness that she had never seen before. What could be going through her mind? She looked so sad, but Lauren couldn't feel bad for her. She could never feel bad for a woman that had chosen her own fate. Camila Cabello wanted to suffer in her life, fine, then she better stay next to that jerk.
