"They're eyes that are able to see right through to your soul as they connect to yours. Green eyes, mysterious and fascinating that make you want to discover what's hidden behind that ever so intelligent and beautiful gaze. If you kept looking at me that way I could never feel gloomy, I would feel brave and confident. Able to do anything just to admire you again, my love. In your eyes I got lost and I didn't want to find the way out of the labyrinth of your orbs." –Pierre

Lauren smiled and signed autographs for the fans that surrounded her. Her eyes, hidden behind dark sunglasses, showed a hint of tiredness due to the concerts those last few weeks. Officially, the Just Me World Tour was over. She'd been to seven different countries in less than fifteen days and she was literally exhausted. Now, she'd have a few months off to rest and try to find the inspiration to write her next album.
Even though Lauren was very honest in saying that in that moment she didn't have the inspiration to write. She considered herself a woman that took her lyrics from life experiences that she'd had. Happy moments, sad moments, but at the end of the day moments that were simply a part of her. A smile could inspire songs, sadness and loneliness could inspire songs, happy tears, painful tears, tears of absence could also inspire melodies. But Lauren simply had dried out. There wasn't inspiration, there wasn't something that moved her to write, she had writer's block like never before and this time she had no clue how she was going to get out of it.
Her eyes found Ryan's the moment her bodyguard walked her over to him.
"All those fans seem so happy to have seen you, darling," he said, smiling as he threw an arm around her shoulders. "It's likely they're jumping up and down because they feel so lucky you always make time for them."
"I'm the one who's lucky to have them," Lauren whispered and Ryan gave her a kiss on the cheek, making some of the fans that still watched her scream in excitement. Lauren simply blushed.
"She's on vacation so she's mine for a few months," Ryan joked, making the fans laugh and Lauren smile in endearment. Ryan was a wonderful man.
"She's mine!" a fan yelled, making Lauren spin around to find herself with a beautiful blue-eyed blonde that look at her with adoration. "I'm so in love with her." Lauren's cheeks turned a deep red as she listened to her fan's words and she looked away, feeling overwhelmed. She had to admit the girl was incredibly beautiful.
"It looks like you and I have that in common, love," Ryan winked at the fan, who simply smiled. "We like girls with fascinating eyes."
"I love them!" the fan answered as the rest of them started clapping and Ryan smiled.
"You my friend," Ryan pointed at the fan. "Have extremely good taste, just like I do. I'm your fan 'cause you're a fan of my wife."
"Ryan," Lauren laughed and he hugged her, kissing her head.
"I'll be her fan my entire life," the fan spoke again and many more agreed with her statement.
"That's another thing that we definitely..." Ryan stroked Lauren's cheek sweetly, "have in common."
Lauren hit his arm playfully and everyone laughed. She said goodbye to her fans and started walking next to Ryan to their boarding gate when a voice stopped them.
"Ryan," a man said as he walked over and Lauren immediately recognized Jason Duval. She eyed him for a moment but her sight suddenly deviated towards a woman that walked behind him with her eyes down, carrying a bag. And surprise reflected in her face as she recognized her. It didn't matter that she kept her gaze down, her profile was unmistakable. That woman was Camila Cabello, the writer that she'd seen in the back cover of the book she'd picked up the night of Ryan's high school reunion. That woman was the writer of the novel that in that moment she carried in her bag.
