She says I smell like safety and home I named both of her eyes "Forever" and "Please Don't Go" I could be a morning sunrise all the time, all the time.
Fragment written by Lauren Jauregui
"A movie for your book"
"Took money out of your credit cards."
"Forged your signature on a pre-contract with Universal."
"Forged a power of attorney so he could have control over your money."
And the list went on and on as Camila and Lauren held their hands tightly and listened to Ally talk about all the things they had discovered about Jason.
"But how could the studio not corroborate with you or Camila?" Lauren asked in surprise.
"He had a power of attorney that gave him authority to act on Camila's behalf and sign documents and agreements for her."
"A fake document," Lauren said by way of question and Camila nodded quickly.
"I've never authorized him to use my things, let alone my cards," she whispered. "Now I understand why you couldn't find my purse."
"He must have taken advantage of your unconsciousness to take it," Lauren said and Camila nodded.
"I suspended all my cards when I realized they were gone," Camila sighed and looked at Lauren for a moment. "But I never imagined he would do something like that."
"I guess you couldn't expect anything less from a man like him, Mila," Dinah said softly. "I didn't know him personally but just from seeing the way he treated you and from what you've told me we know he's no good."
"I've been talking to the police about what we can do," Ally said softly. "We need you to go back to Miami to file a fraud and scam complaint on him."
Lauren and Camila looked into each other's eyes and clasped their hands together. Was this the opportunity they had asked for? Lauren sighed, kissing Camila's forehead softly.
"I'm getting everything organized so we can leave the day Camila is discharged."
"And that will be?" Normani asked softly.
"It looks like two days," Camila sighed. "The doctor says I've progressed well, it could be in two days or tomorrow afternoon."
"But don't you think it will be too uncomfortable for you to travel right now?" Danielle said softly, "Won't it affect your bumps with all the passengers and all?"
"I asked for the private jet I normally travel on when I have back-to-back shows. It's already here at the airport waiting for when we decided to leave."
Camila's eyes met Ally's who was surprised. She read in her eyes the question A private jet? And Camila smiled. That was definitely not the life the three economy-class travelers knew.
"I'll do whatever it takes to make sure my baby has a comfortable trip and doesn't suffer any inconveniences," Lauren whispered, looking into Camila's eyes and smiling warmly. "Remember what we talked about? Nothing goes unpunished in this life my love. We are going to make him pay for everything he has done."
Camila nodded and sighed remembering what they had talked about only a few minutes before. Life was full of twists and turns. Many times things happen to which we cannot find any explanation. There are things that as human beings we do not understand, their nature or why they happen. Each of the things that happen to us throughout our lives leave us experiences, they leave us teachings.
