"I'm going to lose my career," Dinah whispered, covering her face with her hands, and Lauren watched helplessly.

Lauren's eyes met Camila's as she lay in a reclining wheelchair that Lauren had struggled to get from Canada to move her comfortably. Camila's eyes were full of pain and sadness and in that moment Lauren realized what Camila had meant in the hospital. It wasn't just Lauren's career at stake in that recording. Dinah began to sob and Lauren took a deep breath sitting next to her friend feeling her heart break.
