"Just a kiss goodnight"

"Just a Kiss" from Lauren Jauregui's album "Just Me".

Lauren stared at Camila as they both still lay on the bed. Her eyes closed thinking about the stupid thing she had just done. She shouldn't have mentioned anything. She shouldn't have had to confess something so loud so quickly. Camila just stood there saying nothing looking at nothing while Lauren internally cursed herself for being stupid. No one knew she was bisexual. She had never said it before, let alone to people she had known for less than a week.

"Camila..." Lauren whispered worriedly, "Please say something to me."

"I don't know what to say Lauren" -Camila turned to look her in the eye and Lauren simply looked down, taking a deep breath.

"I'd better go." Lauren quickly got out of bed and grabbed the plates and wine and left the room. Camila lay in bed in complete shock watching her leave. She felt a little groggy from the alcohol but she knew she wasn't drunk. Lauren liked women. She had even had a crush on one of her classmates at some point in her life.

Camila was simply shocked, she turned to the side and saw where Lauren was standing and quickly got up. She felt a little awkward in doing so but as best she could she left the room looking for Lauren. She found her sitting in front of her piano with her elbows on the lid while her face was buried in her hands.

"Lauren..." she whispered coming close to her and sitting down next to her on the bench.

"Please Camila leave me alone..." Lauren said softly.

"I'm sorry I didn't say anything upstairs but it took me by surprise. But please don't think I'm judging you or anything like that."

"I don't understand what happened to me," Lauren said. "I've never said anything like this to anyone in my life. Not of my own free will. I'm so ashamed to look you in the eye."

"Lauren, you don't have to be embarrassed," Camila said. "I am no one to judge anyone's sexual preferences. We all have the right to love and fall in love with the person who makes us happy, regardless of sex, origin or religion."

"I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable Camz" -Camila shook her head and with one hand stroked Lauren's arm causing Lauren to stare at her. Camila saw her green eyes worried and full of insecurity and fear. Her Lauren.

"You don't make me feel uncomfortable Lauren" -Camila smiled caressing her cheek tenderly and watched her hold her breath. She was so cute. "Please don't ever think that about me. You would never make me feel uncomfortable."

"I don't know why I said it, Camila," Lauren said sadly. "I don't understand how I could say it to you like that."

"I think the only one who's embarrassed about what's going on is you," Camila looked into her eyes. I'm not judging you, please believe me...."

"No one knows" -Lauren looked down. "Only Normani knows" -she looked her in the eyes-. A"nd now you."

"Ryan doesn't know?" -Camila asked softly and watched as Lauren shook her head.

"There's a past in my life that no one knows about Camz"-she looked down. "I don't like to talk about it with anyone, not even Ryan."

"You know I consider you a very special person in my life," Camila said tenderly. "You can tell me anything and I will never judge you. You are the person who knows me best in the whole world. And I don't care that we've only known each other for five days. We've been together twenty-four hours since yesterday. Every minute of the day, and I feel like I know you more; and if I opened the doors of my heart to you, I want you to feel the same towards me. Know that I am here to support you if you want to talk."
