"Un día más, de mi pasión por ti y tú vendrás, para hacerme sentir que el límite de la felicidad, no llegará jamás que cada nuevo amanecer traerá una sorpresa más"
"Amor Real" Sin Bandera
The crackle of wood in the fireplace filled the cabin with sound as soft music bathed the atmosphere in romance. Lauren sighed feeling Camila's lips on her hand which she held on the table as they both enjoyed a nice dinner.
"It's a beautiful place," Camila said and they both looked into each other's eyes.
"I was looking on the internet for a place that could fulfill what I wanted for tonight and I thought this was perfect. Normani came with me to decorate it and everything else."
"It's beautiful," Camila squeezed Lauren's fingers tenderly. From the roses to the fireplace, to this delicious dinner you prepared for me."
They both looked at the nearly empty plates where a few minutes had been sitting a salmon with an amazing white asparagus sauce that Lauren had prepared with Camila's help.
They had spent three hours in each other's company sharing the kitchen and simply enjoying being together with no one to bother them. Just being the two of them. Imagining how perfect the future would be if that was their life.
"I talked to my manager," Lauren said suddenly and Camila looked up as she took a glass of wine. "All I need to do is talk to your publicist and your publisher so we can agree on dates that won't affect your book tour."
"My publicist is Danielle Davis and I could also contact Allyson Brooke, who often works with me and is my best friend."
"Ally!!!" Lauren said, staring at her, and Camila nodded, staring at her.
"Do you know her?" Lauren nodded.
"The day of the high school party that Ryan invited me to, for a moment I went outside to get some air and smoke and she was there, I was late and she had an accident and dropped her bag with all her stuff" Camila smiled, typical Ally. "And I helped her pick it up. It was the first time I saw you."
Camila looked into her eyes, surprised and uncomprehending, and Lauren smiled at her, taking her hand and kissing it on her palm.
"She had a copy of your latest book "Coming Home" in her purse and I picked it up," Lauren smiled. "I think from that moment when I saw your back cover photo I went a little crazy about you. I liked your eyes and your smile. I couldn't help but get out of there and buy your book. I started reading your story and went crazy about it so I bought all the ones you had published. Your writing is amazing."
"You liked my writing?" Lauren nodded, looking into her eyes.
"I love the way you have that we can travel through time and different eras and how you write it so we can experience what's happening through your writing. That's what attracts me most about your books that you don't get stuck on one thing but you are versatile with your story and your characters and you never know what will happen, it's refreshing and beautiful."
"May I ask which one you liked the most?" Camila whispered.
"The last one, "Back Home," is my favorite," Lauren said without hesitation, "I think it's one of those books that deserves to have a movie. The story between the big businessman and the doctor is fabulous. Everything about it is just beautiful."
"You, telling me that, fills me with pride," Camila said sincerely and Lauren smiled sweetly at her.
"I'm just telling the truth and it has nothing to do with me being madly in love with the writer, you are a very talented woman" Lauren moved her chair a little and taking Camila's hand invited her to stand up. "Come..." Lauren said looking her in the eyes and Camila quickly understood and straddled Lauren.
