"There's a fire in your eyes. There's magic in your touch. It's too early to see but it feels like us. So, hold me now. I'm fallin', I'm fallin' for you".

"Falling for You" from the album Just Me by Lauren Jauregui

"Ryan!" Lauren's voice said and Camila sighed looking down. "Ryan where are you? I can't hear you..."

Camila stared at Lauren as she sat on the couch and took a deep breath listening to the snowstorm outside and the creaking of windows and doors. She hugged her legs and at that moment she felt a hand on her knee and a body sitting next to her. Lauren.

"But are you both okay?" Lauren asked, catching the attention of Camila who turned to look at her. "I told you, Ryan. I told you not to go."

"I'm sorry I didn't listen to you, pretty girl," she sighed and Lauren turned to look at Camila. Her little brown eyes were still filled with tears and sadness. "We had a hard time getting to the hotel but we made it. Jason is in the infirmary because he had trouble breathing, but it's just routine we're fine."

"Will you be able to go home? Lauren asked, patting Camila's knee.

"I don't think we'll be able to get back until the storm passes," Ryan said. "It's too risky to drive in these conditions."

"Of course, it's very risky," Lauren said. "Don't you dare try to come here until it's completely safe, Green." Lauren's voice sounded worried.

"Don't worry, Jauregui, I won't do such a thing," Ryan smiled. "Please take good care of Camila and tell her not to worry about Jason."

Lauren sighed looking at the beautiful woman next to her and gave her a soft smile which she reciprocated slightly.

"I'll tell you what happened-" at that moment the signal began to drop.

"I love you, Lauren," Lauren barely heard before the call was completely cut off.

WHISTLER STATION:

Ryan stared at the phone as he tried to dial again. The storm was raging and he hoped he could get home quickly. He didn't want Lauren or Camila to be home alone. Vancouver was a beautiful city and they were in no danger. But he's worried about them.

"Are you going to call another number, sir?" the receptionist asked Ryan, who just smiled in appreciation.

"No," he said softly, "I was trying to talk to my wife but she already knows I'm fine. Do you have any idea how long this storm is going to last?"

"According to what we were told, it will last approximately four days, sir."

"Four days!" Ryan said, totally surprised, "But will the roads be usable?" The concern was palpable on his face. "I can't leave my wife and our guest alone for four days. It's too dangerous for them."

"That's the information we have, sir," the woman said softly and Ryan took a deep breath.

It's not that he didn't think Lauren wouldn't be able to go a few days without him. But he felt responsible and worried that he had left them alone in a storm like this. A thousand things could happen and they could be in danger and there would be no man around to help them. Ryan shook his head and a small smile crept onto his face. If Lauren knew what he was thinking at those moments she would laugh in his face and tell him that she could manage even in the worst of situations without his help.

Lauren was capable of anything and Ryan knew that and it was one of the things he admired most about her. Lauren never gave up. She knew how to fight and how to pull through. Ryan smiled and walked to the infirmary to get Jason and hoped that Camila wouldn't freak out on her.
