**Read with the song until the end**
"I got all I need when I got you and I, I look around me, and see a sweet life. I'm stuck in the dark but you're my flashlight"
"Flashlight" written by Lauren Jauregui
The clock read three in the morning and there was a woman sitting in front of the bedroom window with a notebook between her legs and her eyes fixed on the naked back of the woman who was still sleeping on the bed barely covered by a sheet showing her nakedness. Green eyes detailed the beautiful woman she had just finished making love to only hours before. Her body shuddered remembering the wonderful caresses that woman had given her. Her soft hands caressing her body, her mouth sliding softly across her skin as her fingers worked magic inside her body taking her to heaven.
Lauren closed her eyes for a moment and when she opened them she sadly saw the sky where snow was still falling and darkness reigned. Lauren had never feared the sunrise as much as she did that night. Lauren loved the sunrise, she enjoyed it to the fullest. It was the beginning of a new day, a new adventure that she could live as if it were her last. But that night, every time she saw the clock ticking she felt a weight on her heart. Because every minute that passed, every second that passed welcomed a dawn where she would lose Camila.
Her eyes filled with sadness and her gaze turned to the sky. She was going crazy. There was no other explanation for what she was feeling. Every kiss and every caress tattooed in her memory with fire. How would she be able to forget a night like that? She had never felt that way in her life. Her face darkened thinking about what that meant to her and to Ryan. What she had felt with Camila had been something wonderful, unique, special. Something she had never felt with anyone else.
Her green eyes sparkled at the sight of her smooth back and messy hair on the bed as she listened to her soft breathing fill the silence of the night. She was the most beautiful woman she had ever seen in her life. She was the most perfect, sensual woman in the world. The way she had made love to her had made her feel like there was nothing else in the world but that moment. That she didn't want to wake up from that wonderful dream where her kisses and tenderness existed. A soft smile filled her face as she remembered Camila's shyness. The infinite tenderness with which she had caressed her and that shyness that had filled her brown eyes as she had made love to her. The way her soft mouth had filled her senses worshipping every part of her body as Lauren had done with her.
Camila shifted on the bed and Lauren stood watching in fascination as she turned over showing her beautiful face while still in a deep sleep. She felt a knot in her stomach contemplating how beautiful she was. Lauren sighed and her gaze went to the notebook between her legs and taking the pencil and after one last look she began to write. Music had always been her escape from reality, the one that gave her the strength to face whatever came her way. And at that moment the only thing she wanted was for the dawn to never come, to stop that moment forever and forget everything. That only Camila and her would exist forever. But with every breath she took the dawn approached and with it the loneliness. Her head filled with a melody that she began to hum softly as she wrote.
When tomorrow comes
I'll be on my own
Feeling frightened of
The things that I don't know
When tomorrow comes
Tomorrow comes
Tomorrow comes
And though the road is long
I look up to the sky
And in the dark I found, lost hope that I won't fly
And I sing along, I sing along, and I sing along
Lauren felt tears fill her eyes as she continued to write. The music filling her body as it always had. Absorbing every drop of her creativity and taking her far away from where she was. Away from reality to lose herself in that world where music and she were one. One soul. It was how Lauren Jauregui evaded her reality. It was how Lauren Jauregui had learned to survive. To survive for the music.
