It was yet another sunny spring day. The sky was clear, the birds chirping and the land covered in endless forests and fields. In one of those forests was a dirt road with three certain individuals on it.
One of them a beautiful slender girl with green eyes and short pink hair. She was wearing a leather corset with a jagged skirt to match as well as a short green cape covering her shoulders and chest. On her back was an arrow-filled quiver and her long trusty bow which she carried with pride.
The other adventurer, a tall boy wearing glasses and a short cape similar to the girl, was dressed in mostly plain clothes that were all some shade of blue. He seemingly didn't wear any armor underneath. A leather belt with a rather large bag attached to it was around his waist. His eyes were an ocean blue colour and his hair brown, short and puffy.
The third adventurer was wearing dark green padded pants held up by a black leather belt with a sheath holding a curved single-edged blade. His black sweater revealed a pattern of chainmail underneath. His eyes were brown and his black hair short and spiky.
They walked down the road, slowly leaving the woods and entering a large field with a familiar town on the horizon.
It's been almost two months since I've been torn out of my boring everyday life and transferred into this weird fantasy world. I have no idea how or why it happened, but I soon discovered that I wasn't alone: The same thing happened to two of my closest online friends - Gabriel and Lynn.
After arriving here, we found out that we are some sort of divine race called skyborn - basically godsend that fall from the sky and help people in need, beat the bad guys and stuff like that. We're not sure of our actual purpose ourselves yet, though I'm certain we'll find out sooner or later.
As of now however, we're focusing on helping a small town which has been plagued by goblins for months now. The town has been brought to the brink of collapse but our arrival managed to turn things around. Now we are trying our best to find the source of these excessive amounts of goblins and destroy it, but we haven't made too much progress considering that no matter how many goblins we kill, their numbers don't drop.
The man carrying the blade takes a deep breath as he and his party approach the town. At the gates, a familiar face waits for them.
"Welcome back, oh noble heroes!" A tall bulky knight salutes. His armor was shiny and the golden moustache resting above his grin well-kept.
"Hi Goldegar." Gabriel waves.
Goldegar acknowledges the curly-haired boy's greeting with a nod. "The hunt was successful I reckon?" The knight asks loudly.
"You know it." Ivan nods, holding up a small brown bag filled with something wet, brown juices dripping out if it.
"It's been a while since we left to hunt, though. Is everything alright in town?" Lynn asks.
"Of course! With you here and all of these new adventurers arriving, attacking the glorious city of Lyugo is only but a dream for those little monsters!" Goldegar exclaims proudly.
"That's good." Ivan chuckles.
"We'll be on our way, then." Lynn speaks up. "These goblin ears are starting to reek."
