The devil within

Surprise?

Daisy didn't know what was going to happen after she was shut in the police car and taken to the Bodeckers. She didn't think that she would like the plan if she knew it. No time frame was given, just Lee would return when it was all over.

Three days was all she had been gone.

And not a word from lee.

Daisy paced up and down the room, stress was eating at her. And that damn morning sickness. She couldn't keep any food down. She couldn't help but think back to what Deputy Colins had said before he left her. Pulling her into a hug and apologising for everything that had happened to her. It wasn't his fault, none of this was. She just wished he had stayed with Lee the whole time. Another wave of nausea had hit her as she coughed at the sour taste. Looking at herself in the bathroom mirror, her skin pale. Splashing cold water on her face did nothing to help her. Morning sickness was really kicking her ass, She wished Lee was there. By her side.

Daisy groaned as she made her way back to Lee's old room. Crawling back under the covers. Even though he hadn't been there in years, the sheets still smelt like him. "Oh honey you okay? Do I need to call a doctor?" Rosie asked as she placed the back of her hand on Daisy's forehead. She felt warm and looked pale. "No it's ok Rosie" Daisy protested as she tried to roll on to her side, in an attempt to get comfy. It was never comfy with out Lee by her side. "We need to get you some help sweet pea" Rosie sighed as she took a seat on the edge if the bed. Still uncomfortable, Daisy shuffled onto her other side. "Need you fit and well to go home"

"I'm pregnant!" She blurted out, clasping a hand over her mouth. She had promised Lee to wait till he had returned. Wanting to tell his parents the news together and to finally get engaged for real. But she couldn't live with making Rosie stress about her. "I'm gonna be a grandma!" Rosie exclaimed as she pulled Daisy into a hug, "Wait does lee know?". Daisy chuckled, placing a hand on her none existent bump "Yeah he knows". 

Daisy allowed her self to enjoy the moment. 

Her soon to be in laws fussing over her unborn child.

But home was the only place she wanted to be.
