Chapter 14

Elise's Pov

We hugged for minutes then someone interrupted our moment "Louis" I looked at L as he turned his head to look at the person and his eyes wide in surprised. I frown and turn also my head to find Arthur staring at us both.

I stood up from the rock and so does L "A-arthur?" I said and run towards him, hugging him so tight "I thought something happened to you! You got me so worried" my face burry into his neck, hugging him so tight.

Arthur hugged me back, holding me in his arms "I'm fine, don't worry" he said while kissing my forehead, why do he always have to be so sweet.

Then I saw Arthur looking at L, I turned my head as he spoke "Arthur" I frowned. Looking back at Arthur "you know him?" I asks while looking both of them.

Arthur was about to answer when L said "No." I frown and look back at L whos looking at Arthur, I dont know if its half worried and anger.

"B-but how did you know his nam-" L cutted me off quickly "I just guessed it" I look both at them, Arthur whos looking at L with confusion "um, okay? So-" L cutted me off again, why is he so scared when I try to speak.

"My name is Louis, for short L" I nodded at him, not wanting him to cut my sentence. I let him speak. "You can call me Louis, now lets go" L said quickly grabbing my hand, making me pulled towards him.

Then suddenly Arthur held my other hand, stopping L from grabbing me away from him "what are you doing, brot-" L cutted him as he spoke quickly "Who are you, dont come near us" L said.

I look both of them confusedly, theres some connection between them that I didn't know. My thoughts were cutted off as L grab my hand away from Arthur and took me to the other side of the forest.

"L, wait" I said as he keeps dragging me, he then stopped and looked at me "I said to call me Louis" I nodded "okay, Louis so I don't know what connection are you both but you dont need to be so rude to him, he is my friend"

"I am just making sure that a stranger wont go near us" Louis said, I frown "but he is my friend!" Then Louis replied "for me, he's not!" I jump slightly as he raises his voice.

Hearing Louis sighed, he quickly hugged me tightly and making my head in his chest, hearing his heartbeat "I don't want to lose you, please stay with me" I closed my eyes, maybe he is alone and he only got me in his life.

I smiled slightly, patting his back before pulling away from the hug "You're not going lose me, I promise you that. If you only tell me about your life then I will always be here for you" I replied.

Louis held me in his arms, hearing him mumble something that I didn't heard perfectly "I love you" i frowned my brows, looking up to him "what?" Louis shake his head.

"I thought you said loaf you?" I said, frowning my brow while looking at him, He laughed and shakes his head "no, its nothing" I look at him unsurely.

"Oh really, Im loaf? Lets see whos going to turn into loaf now" I said smirking evilly and playfully while looking at him, He laughed and ran away while I chased him "no! T'was a mistake I swear!"

Arthur's Pov

Couple of hours later, I keep roaming around the forest. Hoping to find Elise and Louis. "Arthur" I turned around and find Louis, looking at me coldly. He is always the noisy and annoying one but now the cold.

"What are you doing here, Louis and how did you met Elise?" I said, looking at him. Then Louis answered "no, I am supposed to ask you that".

I furrow, getting confused "when I escaped from here, I met a storm that makes me land on the Island where Elise and her mother lived so I lived there for weeks and Pirates start to attack us, Grandfather's enemy Gabriel locked them up. They escaped and ended up here while me and Gabriel fight, ending up cutting his head".

Louis doesn't look surprise and kept looking at me coldly "Don't be so much close to Elise, brother".

Looking at him, stepping infront closer to him "why, who are you even to her?" I asks. "A friend that I liked" Louis said simply.

I looked at him "You just met for days, don't be such a likeable to every woman you see-" Louis cutted me off. "this isn't just about liking, I love Elise"

I widened my eyes "You dont, you only love her body and the next thing in your mind is bedding then leaving her behind and I'll make sure that'll never happen to her". I said, looking at him angrily, thinking of the thought of him bedding Elise then leaving her behind.

Louis tilted his head, looking at me with his finger in his chin "no, brother. I have found someone to love truly and that is Elise, don't worry I'll take care of her."

"No, don't you get it Louis? I also love Elise more than life!" I said that makes Louis cold face turned into anger as he heard that. "No that's not true, She loves me!" I chuckled. "Doesn't mean you both hug each other then she already loves you". I replied while adding a laugh in it.

Louis kept looking at me angrily "I don't care, what you feel about her won't change my mind that I will still love her till the end of my life" He said seriously.

I was about to reply then he cutted me off "and speaking of Elise to you, she will never be yours. Remember that you are the next line in throne and you will marry a royal princess, that means that Elise will be mine" i looked at him, anger.

"Don't be so proud of yourself, If im the heir of the throne. I will decide whom I will marry" I said.

Louis tilts head, looking at me "we'll make sure of that'll never happen, brother and I'll make sure that you will marry Princess Victoria". He said.

I looked at him coldly "If we keep fighting like this over a woman that I love, then you will never be my brother" I replied.

Louis looked slightly hurt and continues to make a cold face "I know, Love makes you do crazy things and I will also make sure that you will lose."

I looked at Louis and said "So, be it" before I left the forest, thinking of my plan. I just lost a Brother because of love and jealous.
