Chapter 41

Elise's Pov

I sat on the bench, hugging Arthur tightly "I miss you so much, Elise. You cant imagine it how every night you hunt my dreams and that I feel so much regret to let my Mother and Victoria to hurt you" Arthur said while hugging me.

Patting his back and hugging him more tightly "I was so scared, Arthur and I thought I was about to die" I said softly and Arthur shook his head "That will never happen and how did you even became close with this Pirates?" He asks.

Smiling at him "They're not bad as I thought, I fainted and they saved me, gave me a room and food to eat" I said. Arthur looked shock "but why are you in the same room as Louis?" He asks, I replied "Well, we kind of sleep together" I said and Arthur widened his eyes as he stood up "That boy"

I gasps, blocking his way from getting out and argue Louis "I mean, we dont sleep together like have you know uhh lovers do. But we shared the same bed but trust me, we never done anything like that!" I said quickly, Arthur seems to hesitate.

"Alright then I trusts you" Arthur said as he pull me up and hugged me, closing my eyes, hugging him back "Oh, I never told you about your mother" I furrowed and looked up to him "What do you mean?" I asks.

Arthur smiled and held my both hands "Your mother is here, she came here with me to find you and she is more worried than me!" He said, I gasped in shock "Mother is here?" I asks and Arthur nodded "Yes yes!" Looking around the house to find her "she's in the ship, come with me" I nodded quickly following Arthur.

When we arrived at the ship, I quickly looked around "Mother! Where are you!" I scream while looking around "Dear? Oh- elise you're here!!" Mother said loudly as she ran towards me and hugged me tightly.

I smiled through my tears of happiness "Mother! Oh, Mother!" I said repeatedly, Mom hugging me more and she has tears on her eyes too. "My dear Elise! You got me so worried, child!" I smiled widely, hugging her tightly.

"Mom, I'm here now. Don't be worried" I said softly before pulling away from the hug, she then caressed my cheek "Don't ever disappear in my sight again, next time when we go back to the village. I wont let you out of the house again!" She said crying, I held her and wipe her tears away.

Shooking my head, giving her a smile "Mother, It happened for a reason. I found Louis and I had new friends!" I said, Mom then held me in her arms "oh, dear I couldn't protect you. I'm such a bad mother!" She said, I frown and held her cheek "Mother please don't blame yourself for me, I'm safe now and I promise that I wont get myself hurt" I said.

Mother then hugged me again tightly "I love you, my child" I smiled, hugging her back "I love you too, mother" I said. Then Arthur watching us with a smile "I'll give you two a bonding time, i'm just gonna take a walk along the sea" Arthur said, I nodded and look at him "Arthur?" I called out for him and he turned his head to me "Yes?" He asks, smiling at him as I replied "Thank you".

Arthur smiled back "My pleasure" thats all he said before turning around and left the ship, Mother chuckled "He is really going to be a great husband to you, child" She said, I blushes and look at her "Mother!" Mom laughed and held me "Come on, let's talk inside the room" she said, I nodded.

"There's so many things I have to tell you!" She said, I smiled widely "So do i, mother!" Mom sat on the chair with a small table infront of us, I smiled and then I remember that woman who claimed to be my real mother.

Mom noticed this "What's wrong, child?" She asks, I looked down at my necklace and pull it out from my neck, holding it in my hand "I'm not your real daughter, is it?" I asks while looking down, nervous what she's about to say.

Mother seemed shock to my question "Why do you ask about that, Elise?" She asks, I looked up to her "Mother, I want to know the truth" I said. She held her hand tightly and slowly nodded "Yes, Child. I am not your real mother" she said, I gasped in shock.

Looking at her in shock, my hand covering my mouth and I cannot believe it "M-mother, how and w-what happened?" I asks with my shaky voice. She then smiled sadly at me "I found you in a basket on the shore when you were just a child, I looked around for your parents around the Island but no ones there and I cant just leave a poor child alone so I took you in with me and starting that day, you were my daughter" Mother said, I cant help but to shed tears.

Mother looked at me sadly, she held my hand softly "I looked at your necklace and opened it, there was a name 'Elise' written on the bottom of it and another name in the center. I picked the name Elise because it reminds me of my real daughter who died when I gave birth to, her name was 'Ellie' she was just an hour old" She said as she cried while covering her face in shame.

"I'm so sorry, Elise for not telling you this. I don't want to let you know the truth because you were my daughter and will always be, but now everything is changed" she said while crying, I held her hand as I couldn't stop myself from crying as well. "N-no matter what happens, you will always be my mother" I said and she then hugged me tightly, we both cried while I held her back.

Arthur's Pov

Walking inside Louis' room as I found him sitting down "Louis, we need to talk" I said, Louis turned around to face me "oh, anything wrong? I think Elise already told you the truth that she kissed me?" he said, smirking.

I widened my eyes and walked closer to him "what have you done to Elise while I'm gone?" I asks while glaring at him, Louis seemed to be enjoying it "Arthur, you should really ask Elise about that. You do trust her right? then let her answer your question" He said, I grabbed his collar and I stopped "Go ahead, do it. Wait til Elise finds out that you are about to hurt me in the first move".

"I still love Elise even though she kissed you or not, we are getting married when we come back to the Island" I said, Louis glared back at me as he held my collar back "You will never get her, you didn't even propose to her" Louis said, I chuckled "I did while you were gone and she said yes, even her mother agreed to me as she likes me more than you do" I said, Making Louis glare at me deadly. Pushing him away as I let go of his collar, Glaring at him before I walked out from his room.

Elise's Pov

After a long talk with Mother, I walked out from the ship and goes to Kio who always took care of his ship. I chuckled "You gotta leave that for a moment and enjoy yourself" I said, Kio looked back at me "I enjoy myself everytime I take care of my ship, I steal and make something I never expected" He said.

I chuckled "oh, you steal? You're not the only one, I actually stole an apple without mother knowing it" I said, Kio laughed "Stop with those things" I laughed and shook my head.

Walking around the ship when suddenly someone held my mouth and preventing me to scream "shh it's just me, Louis" I furrow and turned around, looking at him "Louis! Don't you do that again, you scared me!" I said.

Louis smiled innocently "I just want to ask you something" I furrowed and replied "What is it?" I asks, Louis looked at me in the eye "Did Arthur really proposed to you?" He asks, I furrow my brows. Where did he get this questions from?

"Y-yes" I said, Louis seemed to be nervous at my answer "And what did you answer?" He asks, I look up to him "I accepted him" As soon as I said that, Louis stayed silent and keeps on looking at me.

I was confused, so I held my face "Is there something on my fac-" Louis cutted me off by hugging me tightly "Elise, please don't be in love with someone else!" He said, I struggled to pull him off me but Louis held me tightly and kept hugging me.

"Louis, let go!" I said and Louis shook his head as he keeps on holding me in his arms tightly "No! Elise, You are mine and I wont let anyone have you but me! Please be with me forever!" He said, I placed my hand on his chest as I keep trying to push him away "Louis no stop!" I raised my voice.

Louis did not listen as he keep on holding me then suddenly he pinned me to the wall, I gasped in pain "You are mine, Elise!" He said loudly, Looking up to him in fear "Louis, you are hurting me!" I said loudly.

Arthur in the other side opened the door to find us in this position "You!" Arthur punched Louis, I gasped and covered my mouth then I ran to Arthur holding him back "Arthur, no please stop!" I said loudly as he kept trying to move closer to Louis "I will never forgive you for touching Elise!" Arthur screamed at Louis who was in the ground with a blood in the side of his lip.

"yeah? And I'll never forgive you too for planning to marry the only woman I ever love!" Louis screamed as he punched Arthur, I held Arthur then ran to Louis "Stop Please!" I said loudly Then Louis grabbed his collar "Elise is Mine! she belongs to me!" Louis shouted at Arthur's face.
