Chapter 45

Elise's Pov

Cleaning the room, smiling as I cannot control the happy moments I have with the love of my life and my mother right now. "Honey, stop cleaning for now and drink some tea here its getting cold!" Mom said.

I chuckled, letting go of the broom and walked towards the table "I dont mind if the tea is cold" I replied, mom hummed in response as she drank it "It's cold out there and you dont want going out of this room with your body freezing" Mom said.

I sipped the tea and nodded "I wont, mother. It's just a cold wind passing by" I said, Mom sighed and continued to drink her tea. "So, How are you back here?" Arthur asked after he opened the door.

Looking at him with a smile "It's warm here, what about out there?" I asks, Arthur turned his body around "Well, its getting colder out there and I dont want you freezing so I want you to stay here" He said, I held his arm gently "but you're all freezing out there" I replied worriedly.

Arthur held my hand "Don't worry, we've got extra blankets to wrap ourselves with" He replied, I bite my lip then nodded "Alright, be careful" I said and Arthur nods before kissing my forehead as he walked out of the room.

Smiling then turning back to my tea and sipped it "Oh, that man is going to be a great future husband for you, Elise" Mom said with a smirk, I choke on my drink "Mother!" . Mom laughed loudly "What? It's going to be true anyways" She replied.

Cleaning the table when suddenly I stumble back down cause of the forced pushed of the ship "oh, dear are you okay?" Mother asks while helping me up "What was that?" I stood up and walked out of the room to see another ship hitting Arthur's.

I furrowed, looking around and Arthur ran towards me as he wrapped a cloak around my shoulder "Get inside, it's cold!" Arthur said, I shook my head and looks around "Who are they?" I asks, Arthur looked back at the ship "Just go inside" I nodded and Arthur pulled me back inside the room.

I wonder who are those people from the other ship, I walked towards the window and peeked "Hmm, nothing familiar with the faces. Just a few guards coming out and-" I stopped and widened my eyes, making sure I am seeing the right person. It's Arthur's mother and his Father!

Peeking more through the window to see clearly "what are they doing here and how did they find us?" I asked to myself "oh, who is it dear?" Mom asks, I turn to look at her "Mother, its the King and the Queen!" I said.

Mother widened her eyes and dropped the things she's been holding and rushed to go outside, I quickly hold her back "Mother! Don't! They are not worthy of your time!" I said while trying to pull her back away from the door.

Mom shake her head and keeps on trying to get away from me "No no no! I dont care if they are from royal bloody bloods, they hurted and almost killed you!" She said loudly, I held her back "Mother please! I dont want revenge please!" I said while holding her down.

She slowly stops and calms down a bit, I let go of her and caressed her shoulders "You are stressed, I dont want revenge, mother" I replied, Mom sighed and looked down "Alright, alright dear" she said lowly and I looked around "I'll calm you down with a hot soup-" my words were cutted off by Mother running towards the door and opened it "Mom, no!"

Mom ran down the stairs and walked infront of them, I rushed to pull her back inside "You! Evil demons! You almost killed my daughter! Y-you will never get away with it!" I pulled her back inside with all my strength "Mother please! Yes, they hurted and almost killed me but I dont want revenge! Only an evil person could do that kind of things" I said while letting her sit on the chair.

She calmed down a bit, massaging her temples and shoulders helped then I quickly take a bowl of hot soup "Drink, mother I dont want you sick" I said softly as she slowly drank it then later falls asleep, I sighed. Yes, they hurted me but I am not that kind of person who seeks revenge. Revenge may makes you feel more powerful and stronger than the person who hurted you but for me, I'm already powerful and strong for bearing the pain.
