Chapter 11

Elise's Pov

I woke up from the sunlight hitting my face, opening my eyes slowly to find myself in a unknown house. "Oh, miss your awake!" I heard a man say as he hurriedly sat beside me, making me move away.

"No, no it's okay. I'm not going to hurt you, I promise" The man said, I look around confusedly "where am I?" I asks suddenly.

"You're in the village of Asirald" The man answered, then I furrowed my brows confusedly at the name of the village, It sounds familiar. "My name is John, my sister found you in the shore which is beside this house" Then I remember.

"My mother, where is my mother?" I said while looking at the man named John "she's fine, she is in the other room and still unconcious" I stand up slowly, wanting to see my mother.

"Don't get up, you are still not fully healed" John said and I lay my head back down "May I know your name, miss?" . "Elise" john nodded and repeated my name in his lips "Elise, welcome to my home"

I thank him, and gave him a smile. our meeting reminds me of Arthur, wait where is arthur, is he alright. Many questions filled in my mind.

"Miss, don't worry too much please rest" John said as he stood up "I made you a hot soup, I'll bring it here" John left to go to the kitchen.

I stood up slowly, wanting to see what village is this. Im in another Island but much bigger. I then opened the door outside to see many people dressed and girls taking fruits from another woman and giving them some 3 circle thingy.

While I kept looking around, Many people passing by looking at me weirdly, right then John held my arms "what are you doing out here, its too cold, let me take you back inside and look! You have no shoes on" John keeps talking.

While I still looking around the beautiful place I am in, am I dead? I quickly asks John before he took me inside his house "a-am I dead?".

Arthur's Pov

I groaned in pain as Gabriel's sword touched my shoulder "you will never win" I keep my head on the ground while Gabriel's sword ready to thrust into my flesh then somebody interrupted us as I heard yelling.

"Captain, they escaped! Lonard betrayed us!" Then I widened my eyes and quickly get this chance to push Gabriel off me, lifting my sword out and piercing its blade into his chest.

He groaned in pain, and he held my hand tightly for it to pull away, I whisper to him "I won" then I pull my sword out from him and sliced his head off, his shoulder stand still before his body fall down lifeless.

I run to the ship and killing all of the pirates, their blood on my face as I keep killing them one by one till no one left.

I turned the ship around and looked around the ocean for Elise and her mother, I wont stop till I find her.

Elise's Pov

It's been 2 days and mom hasn't woke up yet, I keep holding her hand. Mother, please wake up I need you.

A knock on the door interrupted my thoughts, I saw John walking towards me slowly "you worry too much, miss" I sighed "She is my mother, the only one family I have." He nodded.

"I lost my family too" I looked at John "how?" . He replied "The last moments I had with them is we were fighting but then a Pirate came and kill us one by one, but me and my sister were the one who survived"

"We rode a small boat and came into these villages, we were still a kid back then and we dont know how to live without parents but then someone helped us who seemed like a Queen from another kingdom, after years, my sister we grew up together while the woman who helped us finished our new simple home and I thank her for helping us" John finished.

I look at him sadly and happily at the same time "you experienced many things in this world, I remember my friend mentioned about the real world" I said, remembering Leo. I look out the window to the sea.

John seemed to noticed my saddened face, he held my hand and making me look at him "what ever happened to your family and friends, I am here for you, Elise" I look at John and smiled.

He reminds me of Leo, maybe Leo sent this man for me to take care and watch me over. I miss you, Leo please come back.
