Chapter 16

Arthur's Pov

I ride with a horse to look for Elise, I didn't know why I doubt that Elise and her mother did not stay here. I think I just dont like going back here because of my relationship with my parents back then.

Walking around the village then finally spotted Elise, I smiled automatically while looking at her. I got off the horse and walk towards her.

"Elise" I said, making her turn to me. She smiled with her doe eyes looking at me happy seeing me 'oh how I wish to capture her right in this spot and take her to my Palace, claiming her as My Queen'

I snapped out of my thoughts as Elise waved her hand infront of my face "hello, are you still there?" She said, I nodded and chuckle "I just got distracted from your beauty, woman" I said.

She look away and chuckle "flattering me wont help, so I suggest you to stop it, mister rude". She said.

We laughed together, remembering our moments together when I stayed in the small Island their living.

Elise quickly jumped into my arms, hugging me tightly. I laughed and hugged her back "I'm so glad you are here!" She said while feeling her smile.

I chuckle and hugged her, feeling the warmth "I knew you were still here, I can't just leave you. You have helped me in the Island with your mother so I will give you many gifts to show you my appreciation" I said, giving her a small kiss in her hand and recieving a small chuckle from her.

Hearing a gasp, I turned around to see what she is looking to find my horse. I smiled "want to ride it?" I asks and Elise nodded excitedly.

When I was about to lift her up then she quickly stopped me "I've never had this at home, I'm scared it might kick me" she said, I chuckle and shake my head "if it would then I wouldn't let you ride it, trust me" I said, looking into her eyes.

She looked back into my eyes and nodded, she trusted me.. I held her waist and lift her up, making her sit sidewards of the horse. I climbed up and sat beside her, holding her waist to make sure she wont fall.

Elise held my hand tightly, then my other hand holds the lead, making the horse run. I chuckle as I heard Elise scream and hold my hand more tightly "Calm down, Just take a deep breath" I said.

She calms down a little bit and opens her eyes to see the view of the mountain as the horse keeps running, Seeing her smile makes me want to protect her from this cruel world.

I stopped the horse and got off the horse, lifting Elise down by her waist "oh, I dont feel my legs anymore" she said, I laughed "that was my first feeling too when It was my first time riding horse" I said, we both laughed.

We sat on the grass, leaning my head on the tree and looking at the Kingdom far away. Elise leans her head on my shoulder while looking back at the Kingdom "I wonder who made that beautiful castle, from far away it looks like a fairy tale" elise said.

Oh, I forgot about her not knowing that I am a Prince and soon to be King. If i tell her now, she wont believe it but I think it is better to keep quiet about it.

"Well, when im with you. I feel like im in a fairytale" I said while closing my eyes slightly as the sun hit my face, Elise looked at me "If we were in a book, would somebody read it?" She asks suddenly.

I smiled, holding her hand and looked at her "Yes, if we were then I promise to make everyone in this world read our book" I said and she looked up to me "our book?" I nodded, smiling "yes, our book".
