Elise's Pov

2 days before our marriage, I've never been excited than before. I looked at mother Jenny who was busy thinking and talking about the theme of my wedding, I chuckled "Mother, anything is fin-" she cutted me off "No no, we make your wedding perfect!" Mom said while keep talking.

I sighed, looking around as I think for a while "Mother?" I called her and Mom stopped talking to look at me "Yes, dear?" She asks, I replied "Should I need someone to teach me proper behavior? I am the future Queen and what if I mess up" I asks worriedly, Mother Jenny gasped and held my hand "Elise, You dont need someone to teach you, Just be kind and loving Queen to your people" She said while smiling.

I smiled back, nodding my head "Yes, Mother" I said and she caressed my hand "Don't ever forget me, child. Even though I am not your biological mother" She said while smiling sadly, it hurts seeing her like this. "we've spent many years together. Even though you aren't my real mother but my heart says you truly are" I said while smiling, making her to drop a tear from her eyes and then hugged me.

Hugging her back "Mother, don't cry" I said softly as she cry more "I dont understand, I dont deserve a daughter like you" Mom said, I chuckled and pulled back from the hug "You taught me about being kind and loving, It's always you" I said with my breaking voice, not wanting to be emotional again.

Mom then chuckled through her tears "I forgot, well. I gotta clean up and prepare your wedding theme" She said, I nodded and smiled before standing up "Yes, mother I will" I said before she nodded back and left my room.

I looked around, many shoes displayed around but still hasn't picked one of them. All of them are tight that it can leave a red mark on my foot if I pull the shoes off, One by one I placed the shoes in a box to hide it. Besides I heard that no groom will see its bride before marriage, including the shoes?

Minutes passed, I looked around the window then I saw a ship outside on the shore. I widened my eyes, It's Kio! I rushed out and ran downstairs quickly "Kio!" I screamed his name, he then turned to me with his shock eyes. "What are you doing her-" I cutted my own words when Kio turned his back on me and hid behind a big stone.

I furrowed my brows confusedly, walking towards him slowly "What's wrong?" I asks, Kio looked around behind me to see if no one is looking before he looked at me "No one should see me here, i'm uninvited" He said, I furrowed more "What are you talking about? You saved us, You are now invited here anytime you like" I said.

Kio then stood up and cleared his throat "Well, forgive me for my actions. I'm just afraid of how the people here treat us since Pirates are known as bad guys" Kio said, I feel sad of how really the people feels when Pirates are around, even Mother told me Pirates are bad because they haven't met one "they won't, if they get to know you better then they won't think of that" I replied.

Kio nodded before smiling at me "Thank you, Elise" He said, I nodded and think "So, what makes you come here if I may ask?" I said while looking at his ship behind him, Kio cleared his throat and I can see his cheeks turning red, I furrowed my brows. Is he blushing? Why?

"Kio, you are flustered" I said while looking at his face, Kio looked away before taking my hand and dragging me behind the big stone. Now i'm getting confused "There is something I want to tell you, but promise you wont tell anyone" Kio said, I tilted my head and nodded "I promise" I replied.

Kio nodded back before looking around for a second, I'm getting impatient so I slapped his arm but gently "Stop looking around and just tell me, you are worrying me" I said with wide eyes, Kio chuckled lowly before looking around again. I groaned "Kio wha-" He cutted me off by grabbing my wrist, I jump in surprise "I liked your sister!" Kio said quickly.
