Chapter 43

Louis Pov

Throwing rocks to the waters of the river, feeling sad and jealous of Arthur. There's nothing we can do to stop Elise from changing her mind, she loves Arthur and I can never do anything about it.

I give a sigh before throwing another rock, closing my eyes and let the sunlight hitting my face as I remembered all my memories of Elise. How we met, how I fell for her kindness and beauty then we were separated.

Closing my eyes tightly as a single tear drops, clenching my fist tightly before letting them go. I have to let her go, if Elise is not the one for me then there is someone out there going to love me like I loved Elise, I will feel what really true love feels.

My moments were interrupted by someone's cleared throat, opening my eyes and turned my head to see Elise standing behind the tree "Are you alright, louis?" She asks, looking down as I sit up straightly "I always am" I replied.

Elise sat down beside me as she gave me her sweet smile that melted my heart and the reason why I fell for her in the first place "I know you are not, I'm so sorry for scaring you like that" she said, looking up to her and replied back "It's alright, as I said I am fine"

Looking up to the clear blue sky to the ocean "I've always want to be with you, Elise" I said seriously in a sad tone, Elise looked down to her hand "I'm never surprised of your confession" she said, I chuckled and looked at her "still, I wanted to say it to you properly" I said.

She looked back at me "I love you, Elise. Many times I want to say it properly but never got the chance to tell you, I dont have the heart to say it because you loved another man" I said with a sad tone, Elise looked at me sadly before holding my hand with hers "I love you too, Louis but as a brother. You have been a good man to me. since the day before we met, I truly love Arthur" she said.

I released a deep sigh, looking up to her and gave her a smile "I wish you both happiness and love" I said, clenching my fist as I controlled my tears. "C-can I hug you?" I asks and Elise nodded quickly before giving me a warm hug.

Closing my eyes, letting the tears that was holding is now flowing down my cheek. "It's gonna be alright, Louis. I also wish to find the perfect woman who loves you truly like you loved me" she said, nodding my head quickly as tears couldn't stop so Elise wiped it.

"Don't cry or I'll cry too! You dont want me to do that" she said, I chuckled and nodding my head before wiping my tears away "I will always stay by your side as your friend" I said, Elise smiled and patting my back "Now, why don't we go back to the ship. We'll eat something it is passed 3 o'clock" She said, I nodded with a smile before standing up with her "That would be nice."

Arthur's Pov

Serving food to Elise's mother Jenny, She smiled at me and nodded her head "Thank you, Arthur" I smiled and replied back "Pleasure, I prepared this special food for you and Elise" I said.

Jenny looked at it and makes an 'o' face "oh, dear. What does it taste like?" She asks, I chuckled and placed the plate infront of her "It's strawberry cake and some long bread" I said with a smile.

She then grabbed a bite and hums loudly, I chuckled "This is surely Elise's favorite! Wait till she takes one bite of this wonderful snack" Jenny said, I nodded and smiled widely "She said that her favorite is strawberry so I prepared and know how to make one, oh here I'll just bring this to Elise" I said before taking the food with me.

Walking out of the ship, looking around for Elise and then I found her with Louis laughing each other. Not him again, I don't trust him that much. I have to keep an eye of them both.

Slowly walking outside, not noticing myself still holding the plate of strawberry cake. Looking at Louis who was pointing at Elise's nose. I began to wonder what wizard spells does Louis done to Elise?

"Ehem?" I widened my eyes, turning around to meet Elise's glaring eyes while crossing her arms "and what do you think you're doing?" She asks, I chuckled awkwardly "nothing, just walking around" I said.

Elise furrowed her brows before looking down at my hand, I turned to where her gaze at the strawberry cake in my hand "o-oh! I forgot, I made this for you. I know you love strawberry" I said and Elise's smile widened "You made this for me?" She asks.

Nodding my head, giving her a smile "Yes, take a bite" I took a fork and cut the cake before putting it infront of Elise's mouth. She then opened her mouth and I shove the cake into her mouth, Elise hummed "do you really need to feed me?" I chuckled and nodded "When we get married, you'll get used to it" I said.

Elise laughed before continuing to bite the cake "That is so delicious!" She exclaimed, I smiled more. I love seeing her smile "oh, um Arthur? Louis?" Elise called out Louis, I looked at him "I have a wish that I want it to happen now" Elise said, making Louis and I furrowed confusedly.

"Name it" . "Name it" louis and I said it together as we both looked at each other, Elise starts to hold both of my hands then Louis' "I wish you to be a loving brother like you once before, can you make it happen?" She asks.

Louis looked deadly in my eyes, I keep a straight face and Elise noticed Louis as she held his hand more softly "Louis? For once, I want you both to live like you used before as a loving brothers. It hurts seeing you fighting over me, brothers shouldn't be fighting. They are loving, kind and all I hear is laughter and Joy, peace" Elise said.

Louis and I looked at each other as Elise continued "I never got the chance seeing you both that way" she said while looking at me then at Louis "Please, I want you to love more and not to hate more" she said softly while looking down.

Looking at Louis who was looking worriedly at Elise "I always want to feel that happiness, Joy, loving and peace with my brother again." Louis said, looking back up to him "I want to see and feel my little brother again, Is he still there? May I see him?" I asked, tears in my eyes.

Elise looked both of us, Louis then nodded as tears began to stream down his cheek "I am still here, brother" that's when I gave up, giving up the doubt, anger, hatred for Louis as I hugged him tightly and Louis hugged me back as we cry at each others arms.

Elise watching us teared up too "Oh, Arthur, Louis" she said before hugging us both, we hugged each other and cried in each others arms and finally the love of my brother is back.

King Henry's Pov

Opening the door and watching through the sky while my mens started to move the ship out of the shore "Men! All hands to your posts! Free all sheets!" I said loudly for them to hear, they bagan to free the sheets and thats when the ship starts to move faster.

I hummed, looking at the sunset before going back inside my Quarter "Henry, you should rest first. We will find Arthur, there are just a few Islan-" I cutted Eleanor by showing her a map of the world with many Islands before glaring at her, making her silent.

"You should read alot of books to make you clever enough to cover your lies" I said before turning my back on her, Eleanor bit her bottom lip "I just dont want you getting worried, you've been awake for the whole night and day" she said.

I scoffed and watched her "You forgot something, eh? You are the reason of all this mess, Yes you. Hurting that woman when you knew Arthur wouldn't forgive you after doing that?" Eleanor shook her head and looked down "You would have done the same thing, Henry you also hated that woman"

Turning my back on her, looking out to the window "Yes, but you've done it first. Don't you think Arthur will be able to forgive you? No! Then we'll force him if that is the only choice to do!" I said before crossing my arms, watching the window blankly.

Eleanor stayed silent and just looked down thinking, I groaned of the thought of Arthur marrying that commoner but I have no choice. Wait, I can also force him to marry Princess Victoria then so be it. Looking out the window before the light turns dark and moon came.
