Chapter 44

Elise's Pov

Smiling as I watch these two brothers talking to each other, Arthur looked at my side and wave at me. I smiled and walked towards them "Brother, forgive me for saying bad things to you" Louis said and Arthur nodded before patting his back "It's alright, what's important is I got my brother back" Arthur said.

I smiled more, they are so sweet. I looked up to see mother served me a tray of cookies "Woah, wait how did you even bake them, mom?" I asked, Mother chuckled and pointed at the house "It took me almost 8 hours to make it, There's fire and cocoa inside the forest so I decided to make cookies, snacks?"

I chuckled, taking one cookie then gave the tray to Arthur and Louis "Louis, you dont have to feel regret and remember the bad things you did to Arthur. Let me know the both of your memories before we met" I said while smiling.

Arthur snapped his fingers and pointing it to Louis "She's right, we'll talk about the way Louis had his first kiss" Louis widened his eyes and covered Arthur's mouth making him shut up, I chuckled "Come on, let him speak"

Louis shook his head and keeps covering Arthur's mouth, I straighten my lips then tried pulling his hand away from Arthur, but it only leave a small space between Louis' hand making Arthur to speak faster "Louistrippedoverandkissedawomanthentheybothweredoingevenmorethankis-" Arthur's mouth were covered again by Louis who looked like freaking out.

I laughed, even though I dont know what's his saying "Come on, Louis let him speak!" I said while still laughing, he shook his head and I grabbed him, pulling him away from Arthur but he wont budge.

Louis eyes widened and tickled me, making me jump in surprise "No- no there is nothing to talk about!" Louis said, I laughed more and Arthur began to push gently Louis and tickled him, Arthur looked at me with wide eyes "Elise! Louis tripped over a woman and-" Arthur's words were cut off by Louis humming under Arthur's hand "Dont you ever tell her y-"

Mother interrupted us "Now stop all of you and let me join but give us a warming big hug!" She said as she hugged us 3, making Arthur to groaned at the tight hug. I laughed "Mother!" I said and we all laughed together while in a tight warming hug.

Kio's Pov

I watched my compass, looking around the south and turned my head to Elise as she was walking around the deck. "Elise!" I called out and she turned to look at me, waving at me and walking towards me "What is it?" She asked.

Looking down at my compass then back to her "I cannot just let my ship stay here in the next 3 days, I must know your decision to where you are really staying" I said while looking at her. Elise sighed and looked around the Island she once lived.

Then looked back up at me "I.." she paused for a second before continuing her sentence "I will go back to the Kingdom of Asirald, my real mother is there and the rest of my family" she said, I nodded my head "Isn't that your mother?" I asked while looking at the woman in the other side of the ship.

Elise shook her head "She is my mother too, she took care of me since I was a kid until now but she is not my real mother" Elise replied, I furrowed and was about to ask again but I keep silent "I understand that, oh well, but since you already made your decision to go back to the Kingdom of Asirald then, call them all up because we are going now" I said and Elise smiled widely at my kindness before nodding her head "Aye, aye Captain!"

Elise's Pov

Holding mother as I lead her back to the ship "Mom, Captain Kio promised to protect this Island we once lived. We'll visit here when we have time" I said and Mother nodded, smiling "I'm gonna miss this Island, though we can visit it anytime" She said.

I sighed, before taking a seat and Arthur sat beside me "Are you sure you want to go back? My mother and Victoria might hurt you again" he said worriedly, I smiled at him before caressing his hand "Don't worry, we'll change them. Remember no mother cares for his child" I said and Arthur furrowed his brows.

"What do you mean?" He asks, I act to think for a second "She'll obey you because you are her child and also she would obey me too because I'm going to be her soon to be daughter in law" I said while controlling my blush and laugh, when did I get this tough to call myself a future daughter in law to Arthur's mother? Arthur laughed loudly and pinched my nose "Silly smart girl"

I laugh more, hugging Arthur tightly in shyness. I should've not said that, Arthur keeps on laughing before kissing my forehead as he pull me closer in his arms "I guess you are right, my future wife" He replied, now my face was all flustered "stop teasing!" I said as I hid my face into Arthur's arms,making him to pull me more closer to him while laughing at my reaction.

Minutes Passed, Kio's ship first to move forward before his other ship and Arthur's followed. I walked upstairs to the deck and breathe the fresh air. We are finally going back home, I cant wait to see my real mother, Leyla and John!

Someone hugged me in the back, I chuckled knowing its Arthur "I promise, I will guide and whatever happens I will protect you from any danger" He said, I smiled and turned around, facing Arthur "and whatever happens, I will stay by your side and will also protect you from any harm!" I said while smiling, looking into his eyes.

Arthur chuckled before pecking my lips and I giggled at his sweetness "You dont know how I really want to marry you, Elise" He said, I nodded while smiling uncontrollably "I also too wanted to marry you, I just love you so much" I said while looking lovingly into his eyes.

Arthur smiled more, pecking my lips more and I kept on smiling "And I always wanted to start a family with you, can you imagine that?" He asks, I nodded and chuckled "Were still not married yet you're already talking about our future" I said as I chuckled more.

He held my hand with his, looking up to him and Arthur smiling down at me "I cant help falling in love with you, Elise. I also cant help dreaming about our future" Arthur said, I smiled and nodded "I understand how much you love me as I do" I said, Arthur chuckled before pulling me into a hug. Closing my eyes as he was hugging me warmly, the best feeling ever is about the love of your life hugging and loving you unconditionally.
