Chapter 49

Elise's Pov

Sitting down properly on the chair, I listened to my real mother Adrianna. "You were still a baby when I lost you, I am a bad parent and I even fired the Captain of the ship" She said sadly, I smiled softly and held her hand before wiping her tears away.

"Mother, It's fine. The important thing is I am here, safe amd talking to you" I said and Adrianna shook her head "I always wanted to raise you up with your real family, but we lost you" She replied sadly.

I sighed, holding her hand and caressing it "I am here beside you, that is important and I'll give you a chance to show how you love me as my mother" I said while smiling, Adrianna nodded and held my hand back "The mother who raised you up is a good mother, she raises you well and you are too kind to be my daughter" She said, I chuckled.

"She always is, she took care of me as I took care of her now but no matter what, she is still my mother" I said honestly, Adrianna nodded while looking down for a while "I understand, child. She is your mother too because she raised you since you were a kid and now you are grown to be kind and beautiful" She said.

I smiled more, nodding my head and think "so, you are the Queen of Alynthi then are you the Mother of Princess Victoria, too?" I asks with my wide eyes, Adrianna furrowed at my reaction and slowly nodded her head then the next thing I fainted and everything went black "Yea- ahh! Elise what happened! Help!"

Arthur's Pov

I was walking down the hallway when I saw my Father standing on the balcony, I walked towards him and stand beside him as I watch the village and mountains then up to the skies. "Your Mother is gone, son" He said.

Looking at him before answering "What happened?" I asks "I dont know, but all I know is stress is gone" he said and I am beyond shock "She is just in the ship for sure, Father maybe ashamed of what she'd done to Elise and I" I replied.

Father then looked back at me "Do you think she's the only one who feels ashamed?" He asks then I was about to reply when Father held my hand "Forgive me, son for not letting you have the woman you love" He said as he slowly teared up.

I held his hand and shake my head "I just realised that the Kingdom would be very much powerful if you marry the woman you love, I was wrong about her, forgive me" He said, I widened my eyes "Father, don't be sorry. I know I also think that way if some random woman asks me and I can easily judged them but that was before Elise changed me, she made me feel loved" I said while smiling.

Father nodded and looked down slightly before smiling "I see how that woman changed you, do something that makes you happy since I allow you now to marry her" He said, I widened my eyes "Wait, you are allowing me to marry Elise?" I asks shockingly.

He then nodded his head before smiling at me "Follow your heart, son do what your heart wants" Father said, my eyes are now teary and I ran in his arms, hugging him tightly "Father, Thank you! Thank you!" I said, getting emotional.

Father sniffled and pats my back as I hugged him "I forgive you, Father" I said, making him tear up as well. We hugged each other and feeling each other's embrace as A son and as A father.

Jenny's Pov

I sipped the tea as Adrianna, Elise's real mother talked to me "She's been a grown woman, The woman I want her to become so tell me where did you and Elise lived before?" Adrianna asks, I nodded then think for a while. I've forgotten the name of the Island since I lived here for almost 3 months "we lived in an Island which I forgot the name of it" I said.

Adrianna nodded and smiled "It's fine, I'm glad my daughter is back now. You've been a good mother to her Jenny and I'm glad you let her wore the necklace that I gave her since she was a baby" She said, I smiled back "It was already hanging around her neck when I found her on the shore, I can't just throw it away" I said.
