To say I was nervous would probably be an understatement.

After the interest in the dancing trainees subsided, I felt my nervousness and excitement rising again. It was almost laughable to worry about a simple sound recording for miles. But that was inevitable with new unknown things that one was not used to in one's life so far.

And singing was one of those unknown things in my life.

With trembling hands, I followed Ji-yong to the third floor. The walls of the floor were shiny black, while green words and letters cascaded down the walls like a waterfall. In the back, I discovered a lounging area. We stopped in front of one of the sound studios, and silently I followed him inside.

I was surprised by the brightness of the room. The walls were mostly sand-coloured panels that lined the entire room. The floor had been covered with light-coloured laminate. It creaked slightly under my feet and in many places scratches lined it from its many years of wear. Most of the furniture in the studio had been kept in darker tones and contrasted nicely with the light walls and floors. On the left side of the room was a black leather couch that stretched almost to the end against the wall. An equally black leather armchair filled the gap between the couch and the wall.

I stepped closer inside and stood directly in front of one of the room's two long black tables. While the second table was mainly used for all kinds of musical equipment and placed directly in front of the glass pane, this table was mostly empty. Only a single switched-on Apple computer stood in the left corner of the table. For a moment I almost forgot my pent-up excitement and nervousness when I discovered the many pieces of equipment and keyboard instruments. They filled much of the rest of the room, with a total of almost ten keyboards in different variations, shapes and sizes standing on the left side.

It was only later that my eyes fell on the four big bears painted in superhero outfits on the huge speaker boxes. I also spotted more action figures, directly on two less conspicuous speakers below. Kwon Ji-yong noticed my glance at the figures and grinned.

"The recording studio belongs to Teddy, one of our songwriters and music producers," he explained and I couldn't help laughing a little.

"Very original," I replied with a grin, glancing at the four bears. Still grinning, Ji-yong leaned against the table with his arms folded and watched intently as my grey eyes slid around the studio.

"That's impressive," I said to him and he nodded.

"Is he okay with us using it too? I don't want to make any trouble." I asked cautiously and a small smile crept onto Ji-yong's lips.

"Don't worry, he agreed. We are undisturbed here."

Reassured, I nodded and put my things down on the couch. Ji-yong meanwhile booted up the computers and switched on some of the equipment.
