Chapter 22 - The Devil was the Boss now

Carson somehow calmed down as Callahan caressed her cheeks and said, "Let's go back to your house."

"But it is still the working hours." I looked at my watch and saw, we still had one more hour left to finish our working hours.

"It won't be bad to take a leave early today," Callahan said as a smirk formed, "And besides, I am the boss now."

Oh, yes. I almost forgot that he was the boss but I didn't want to use his powers like that. I shook my head. "No, I will work until it's 5."

Callahan came back to me and placed a long finger under my chin as he tilted my head up. "It is my office now and I am telling you to go back. Do you still want to disobey my commands?"

"Yes! It is not right to abuse your powers even if you are my devil." I said and we both froze for a moment. My devil...

My Devil?

Why did I say that? My cheeks turned ten shades darker than red as I tried to correct, "I-I mean, since we are contracted so we should not-"

Callahan smirked as he teased. "My Devil?"

I got flustered and I wanted the ground to swallow me. My heart thumped against my chest and I was scared that he would hear it.

He bent forward a little as our eyes met and I couldn't stop but found it mesmerizing to see his hollow eyes. It was like a million stars twinkling in them. It was pretty. What was happening to me? Was it also one of his charms? Spells? Powers?

"Interesting." Callahan said as his lips crashed on mine and a moan escaped from the back of my throat. I closed my eyes as he took the lead and our lips synchronized with each other. He put his tongue as my whole body shivered and gave in to him.

He had kissed me before but not like this. It was amazing that I forgot I was still in my office building and in my boss's chamber. Err... And I was kissing my boss.

No! That was out of my ethics! I had always reminded myself not to get into any affairs with my bosses! But then...

Another moan escaped from me as Callahan deepened the kiss and now his hands captured my wrists as I tried to push him away. Although my mind said not to indulge myself with my boss, my body seemed to make a different ethics on its own.

As he pulled away, I felt breathless while he stayed like nothing happened. Didn't he feel breathless or something?

I felt my body exhausted beyond repair. From all the panics to Callahan's kisses everything went like a whirlwind and I wanted to go home and sleep.

"Now, will you go back?" He asked.

"Okay." I decided it was only this time I would use his powers of being my boss aka boyfriend.

I stood up and said, "Then I will go tell Mr Denver to take care of my desktop now."

"No need to do that." Callahan took the land line and said, "Come here. Now."

"Hey! Don't you tell him that. He will think that I am using my boss-boyfriend for everything." I yelled at him. I didn't want to use his powers for me. I wanted to do my work and achieve on my own. I didn't want to ruin my image especially to Mr Denver because he was a respected person and I looked up to him.

Callahan gave me a look.

The door opened as Mr Denver peeked inside. "You called me, my Lord?"

"Yes, Hiriotus." Callahan said, "I am going back with Carson and I need you to look after the work of the office."

He entered, closing the door behind him. He nodded as he bowed his head. "As my Lord commands."
